The PUPiL Graduate case was meticulously designed in Cambridge, England. Great detail has been applied to every stage of the design and manufacturing process in order to achieve an outstanding finish. The case was constructed to provide protection, while the quality and design complement your iPad Air aesthetically. Every case is individually hand-crafted from genuine leather and bound using cotton stitching for a superior finish. The fine skin ages with use taking on a wonderfully original look in time. The case was ergonomically designed to offer a wide range of viewing angles for everyday use, while the multi-position stand allows the user to perform a multitude of tasks in comfort. We have incorporated an energy conscious, battery saving auto sleep / wake cover with a magnetic tab closure mechanism. Automatically locking your iPad once the cover is closed and instantly awakening the device when the case is opened. Finally, the iPad case is presented in our brilliant two part card gift box, carefully wrapped in tissue paper and finished with a removable PUPiL embossed leather swatch hand tied to the case.

Excellent quality case for the new iPad Air 2
First up I am very happy with my purchase of this Pupil case as it looks stylish and fits my iPad Air 2 perfectly. For the price this is an excellent piece of kit which exudes quality. This is evident from the very first moment you open the outer packaging to reveal the stylish box it comes in which IMO is better than a lot of cases I've seen. The outer case has a smooth good quality leather feel to it and the inner a nice brushed suede finish. The iPad sits snugly inside and benefits from three angle settings which allow it to stand and work both vertically and horizontally.I often just hold it in my hand with one side folded back on the other. The closing magnetic flap then clips back the other way to hold it open which is a nice touch. On top of this the case also auto shuts down your iPad when it’s closed. If like me you have trolled through the mine field of other so called iPad Air 2 cases then you will be happy to know that this fits great and has all of the right cut outs in all of the correct places.Unfortunately there seems to be quite a lot of false advertisement with regards the iPad Air 2 in general where the new name has been tacked onto the description of an already existing good piece of iPad merchandise so they could draw on all of the positive reviews already given.I've lost count of the number of cases which initially alleged to fit the new iPad Air 2 only for it to become apparent after reading through 30-40 reviews that there are many disappointed people in amongst them who had in reality bought a case designed for the older slightly thicker iPad version so fit their newer one poorly. As for the Pupil case my only minor negative is the tag it comes with, (which can be seen hanging from the corner of the cases picture and I'm guessing is to emphasise the fact the case is made from real leather). Unfortunately it's attached by what can only be described as a tatty piece of string. Possibly I'm missing the point and it's really retro & cool but to me it just looks like something my Granddad used to use when tying his runner beans up to canes when I was a kid.Besides that this is exactly what I wanted and at a very good price so comes highly recommended from me.

Good quality leather case
This is a very well made, real leather case. It fits my iPad Air 2 perfectly. The case arrived within 3 days of ordering and comes in its own stylish cardboard box. The case has one of those leather tags that show it is real leather (with nice leather smell too!). The iPad does need a little bit of a push to make sure that all the holes are lined up but once sorted the case is perfect. To stand the iPad up there are 3 leather strips sewn into the base which the iPad rests on, so you can have 3 different angles of support. The cover has a magnetic flap to hold it closed and turn the iPad off. The flap is also help back on Itself by another magnet so that it doesn't flip onto the screen when in use.All in all a good quality case that will protect the iPad and should easily outlast it.

It would not be hard to pay more for a cover but I think you'll find it difficult to source a better one. Buy with absolute conf
Was a little concerned as this cover seemed to be so reasonably priced but decided to give it a go. It arrived before the stipulated time. The quality of the box in which it arrives gives some idea of what to expect inside and no surprise....... the case is absolutely fabulous.I had wondered how secure the iPad would be but the method used to lock the case into the cover adds a huge measure of comfort. All ports are accessible so no problems on that front, and the iPad switches off when the cover is closed. My fingers and nose confirm that the leather is quality, and even the magnetic flap fits snuggly into a recess. I don't usually blow my trumpet about a product but this cover deserves a fanfare. It would not be hard to pay more for a cover but I think you'll find it difficult to source a better one.Buy with absolute confidence.

Ok Case
A pretty good case brought down by some issuesPros:Case is sturdyThe case looks niceMagnets enable closing tab to be kept of the wayBlack leather looks niceCons:Mine often doesn't turn off/on when opening or closing the case which is a big issueMy iPad Air 2 is lopsided in the case and won't push in any further even with brute force, the home button is obscured slightly by the leather cutout (see images)Smells chemically, hopefully will go after awhileMy previous case was nearly perfect but unfortunately the magnets to hold the case shut came out of their slots and would hold anymore, looking around this seemed like it would be a great replacement and on paper it is, these niggles though make it an ok case and not an amazing case. Shame

Quality product
This is a product made from high quality leather. The Ipad air 2 fits snugly and is very well protected. I was going to get a Griffin cover but many people had complained that Ipad air 2 does not fit well. I like the way the magnetised fold fits into the cover to keep the product slim. I also like the way the strips of leather prevent the ipad from slipping when typing. I have found with cheaper alternatives that the ipad is not secure when in this angled position. My only gripe is that I wanted to use the ipad on stage with a stand attached to a microphone stand- unfortunately the case does not allow this. I have not taken off a star since I can't imagine many people will have this as a requirement!
