This is a huge pill. I start using this because of thyroid problems. Immediately, my hair stop falling, I notice that on the second day of use. The tightness around my neck went away around the 5 day after taking this pill. Lots and lots of energy. I took two pills as indicated but it was too much for me( use it as a loading dose) so I use two for the first 3 days and then cut back to one a day. Now I have one every other day. Listen to your body, talk to your doctor and modify along the way. I feel more energized and not stress about losing my hair. Hope it works for you.

After having a life saving hysterectomy 8 years ago I gained nearly 60 lbs and I tried many products to lose the weight to no avail until I did tons of research and found this product and it was the most recommended. I thought what do I have to lose and decided to try it, I'm so glad that I did... I'm on my second bottle and the weight is falling off, I didn't notice the difference right away, until people started asking me if I was losing weight... I'm down about 20 lbs so far and I feel so much better already, I even sleep better, more comfortably... I recommend this product to anyone who has tried everything and it hasn't worked! I'm always skeptical about supplements. I'm a firm believer that modern medicine works and that it should do what it's supposed to. Except with my thyroid, evidently. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis this previous summer, and began taking Synthroid in September. At first I felt great, my appetite was down and my energy was back. By mid-December my fatigue, afternoon dizziness, voracious appetite to the verge of nausea, and irritability were back, as well as weight gain. At first I chalked it up to finals week, then I realized it wasn't going away after classes ended. So I had my levels checked in early January, and everything showed "normal." My doctor, who I do like and does care, chalked it up to symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder, which I have been diagnosed with in the past. So we decided to give it more time and get through the winter before making a rash judgement. I ordered this at the beginning of February because I just couldn't deal with it anymore. Especially with being back in class as a full-time student, and having severe hunger and fatigue issues. Within the first week, my energy was back, and my appetite was diminished. I have NOT noticed any weight loss yet, but it hasn't been the full 3-4 weeks as stated on the bottle. I am taking the full 6 capsule dosage as recommended. The improvements I've stated are enough for a 4 star review so far, but I'll be back in a couple of weeks to see if they sustain, and if weight loss is achieved. Right now it's been about 10 days since I started the supplement. I really do hope it helps with the weight, if not, I'm heading to an endocrinologist and not my PCP, to see what the hell is up. Who knows, this could just be the placebo effect. Hopefully, as someone who actually is using this, I can provide an accurate review for the product, rather than blatant astroturfing you see by paid reviewers.

So far, even though I'm only taking two in the morning (the recommended dose is six, in three sets of two, spread out through the day), I'm noticing less feeling cold and more energy. I'm taking it because my usual body temperature is low, and even though I sweat like crazy when I exert myself in any way, I get really chilled when i set still, even with the heat set on "unbearable" to some others. :-/ And thyroid trouble runs in the women in my family. And I probably don't want more L-tyrosine than I'm getting in the two. I take them first thing every morning. But I may try two more in the early afternoon, some day soon. Also, I got my husband to try this. It's too soon to tell if it's helping him.

I wish it these could reformulate without gelatin. I bloat up like a balloon after taking because of the gelatin.

this is NOT T3. I repeat, this is NOT T3. this is not actual active thyroid hormone. if you are hypothyroid and are looking for T3 instead of or to supplement your T4 (synthroid etc) and thought "wow, this is so much cheaper than cytomel!" (or whatever other brand of actual T3) - there's a reason! it's basically a multivitamin, not triiodothyronine. maybe it is suitable for some people whose problems are more nutritional deficiency related, but if you depend almost entirely on exogenous T4/T3 because your thyroid is severely compromised for other reasons, such as hashimoto's, this is not what you really need. I would give this no stars if I could, because the labeling is so disingenuous. my mom bought this thinking she was actually getting T3 (gee, I wonder why...oh yes, "T3" takes up half the front of the product). I know it says further down that it's only meant to "boost" your thyroid output, but it is still easy to misunderstand, and I am sure a fair number of people make that misunderstanding regularly. please always read the fine print, I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake. DO NOT BUY THIS THINKING IT IS T3.

I have been using this product for a couple of months now and have been pleasantly impressed with it. It has helped tremendously with my hair loss and energy levels and I have actually cut down on my coffee intake and stopped drinking soda altogether. I quit taking it for a week and definitely noticed the lack of energy and my hair started to fall out again. When I take it regularly I notice the weight comes off. Not in a drastic way, but a few pounds here and there with no workout regiment. So, it defintly helps. I will continue to use this product.
