Great managed PoE switch
This thing is great if you have a Unifi network. I use these in front desk situations with mixed PoE and unpowered Ethernet devices. One issue with the latest one I purchased, the firmware was so far out of date I had to update it to adopt it to the controller. This was done with SSH and using the firmware update command with a URL to the firmware package. It worked and adopted just fine after updating. If it doesn't show up for adoption try this.

Quality managed switch with 8 PoE ports
These are great little switches for smaller offices that need PoE for phones or wifi AP's. Only the ports on the left side provide PoE which can be slightly inconvenient when you don't have a good map of what's what when replacing an existing switch. I already have a Unifi controller for managing Wifi AP's so it was very convenient to adopt and manage the switch from the same interface. The price is reasonable for the feature set.

Compact, fast, manageable-perfect POE switch for small group of PCs/Phones

Very low POE power
If you use this switch to power other devices, you will quickly exceed its power limits.

Died outside of warranty
Background, wanted to have more visibility and control over my home network and also provide recommendations & support to others with the same setup (after my recommendations)Based on this, my home network, was a combination of an Unifi Gateway, POE switch (review product), two switches and an access point. The POE switch was fine when it worked (2 years), however, it now fails to appear in the control center and can not be accessed or controlled via the unifi control center. Spent a few weeks with support to resolved the issue which resulted in a recommendation to RMA. Unfortunately my switch is 'out of warranty' and can not be RMA.Note to potential buyers. This seems to be a pattern with may Unifi products, a quick web search returns many similar stories of their products failing after the warranty expires. Overall, very disappointed that support could not provide instructions on how to fix the issue, especially as I have many other Unifi network products that (for now) work fine.

Died just after two year warranty
Bought this and installed it in my home theater room in a well ventilated/open area, running two small PoE loads and other equipment. It died a few months after the two year warranty was up. I don't recommend this product due to how quickly it died.
