A quality power sander.
A great sander for the money. Build quality is excellent and comes with a handy and functional dust filter. It has the added feature to take hook & loop backed sanding paper as well as the traditional clamp method of securing the sheet. The only gripe I have is the switch can be a fiddly to operate. All said, this is great value and definitely a 10/10 power tool.

Great product for the price !

No vacuum attachment included
This is great value for the money and a very good quality quarter sheet sander that could easily sell for twice the price of £29. My only gripe is that, while the unit comes with the filter attachment (these are completely useless as a way of capturing the dust), the attachment for vacuum dust extraction is sold separately and adds another £11 to the cost. Still, for £40 in total, it's hard to find fault in this sander.

Great sander
Have always been a DeWalt & Makita DIY'er. Tried Metabo for price - could not justify the cost of the others. This sander is great. Its robust, handles great - does the job really well. The dust extractor tends to pop-off and so I cable tied it in place, but I would not even down rate it because of that. Cary case is great too with room for sanding pads / rolls. Take a look at Metabo on line, it is owned by Hitachi since 2016 and is a German manufacturer. German engineering is top class. I’m still a DeWalt & Makita fan, but I believe Metabo is a very good brand.

Almost perfect!
Formerly sold as Hitachi. This is a great little sander where you can save money cutting your own sandpaper from a roll for belt sanders. There is no need to buy these fancy shape sanders that end up costing you a lot more due to the cost of unique sandpaper replacements. Metabo have gone cheap now giving you a plastic plate to make the holes on the sandpaper. In the past it was a metal plate which is easier to use. Good price compared to a lot of junk out there.

Light,good little machine.I usually go for top end machines,but,I know what metabo are all about,got more metabo gear than I need,but this is good bit of kit
