A fantastic and cost effective way to solve the problem of carrying a carbon frame bike.
This is a great and essential bit of kit if you have a carbon Fram bike. I use it on my 25.5kg eMTB on a Thule towball bike rack. It means I can make sure there is a good solid grip on the bike without risking damage to the frame. Two things to be aware of: 1) You need to cover the metal pin to stop it rubbing/marking the bike stem. I use a piece of hose pipe over the pin. This works perfectly. 2) If you are leaving your bike on the bike carrier unattended, its advisable to use a locking chain around the bike and carrier as it is not possible to lock the bar to the bike and/or rack.

Excellent bit of kit
Purchased this to go with an Allen rack, as I knew I had a step through E bike to collect. The fit was excellent and it safely transported the e bike with about 7ths to spare

Works well - just remember to protect your seat post
Works well. My only criticism would be that as the end with the pin in has no way to stop movement, the pin will rub against the seat post during travel. You therefore need to protect the seat post in some way to prevent it being damaged.

Have had this several years and find that I never reviewed it. Bottom line, it works great for a ladies bike to transport on certain car carriers or for kids bikes. Easy to install, very sturdy and does the job I bought it for. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
