Clarify & Shine Shampoo

I had high hopes of the Aveeno brand but have been very disappointed. It smells lovely but whilst it didn't exacerbate the itchiness on my scalp, it didn't help it either. My hair felt completely coated in something heavy after washing, lying flat and dull no matter what I did. It also dried my hair out making it tuggy and incredibly static when dry. My hair is fine, straight and just below shoulder length.

Ordered both the shampoo and conditioner, although the shampoo did seem to remove all build-up and leave hair looking brighter it sadly left it extremely dry.The conditioner I found to be totally useless and ended up having to recondition with my own brand. Wouldn't buy again

This used to be my daily shampoo before the change. it’s now giving me allergic reactions, making my scalp stink (probably feeding imbalance) and leaves my hair greasy as hell. I checked and saw it has been reformulated and that’s why it was out of stock in October.. shame. Not clarifying anymore, the name holds no meaning. Used to be at least 4-5 stars down to 1 now. Why are they doing this to all the top brands in the uk/europe used by people with sensitive skin, sebderm and rosacea people? Lots of complaints on all the forums and under all reformulation. No one is listening. Even the korean products that used to work have been bought out and reformulated. Every few months a new reformulation with added cheap yet oily, rich ingredients branded as products for “sensitive” and “troubled skin”. Marketing joke. I am only using ebay these days to get niche products now. Such a hassle

Do not buy if you have low porosity hair!! It’s FULL of nasty ingredients like non water soluble silicones and proteins! It’s so hard to get out of my hair unless I use a clean sulfate shampoo. It caused hair loss over last 3 months. AVOID Aveeno shampoos, they’re so bad for your hair if you have low porosity. And the RESIDUE is horrendous. It didn’t wash out at all and left a film and build up over my scalp which in turn caused irritation and scalp problems! I thought I had psoriasis but it’s this shampoo! AVOID!!! So disappointing as I wanted to try SLS free shampoo but this is worse!! Check the ingredients. It’s full of the worst silicones etc. Went back to using my old sulfate shampoo with minimal ingredients and i have less hair fall and scalp problems. ❌❌❌

I'm so disappointed, I opted to try this because the one I normally use is £28, I have just dried my hair and it's so greasy, such a shame as it smells lovely. I now need to wash my hair again as it looks like I've not washed it at all

I had a bad reaction to this product (Shampoo and Conditioner) that I had to wash my hair again within 10 minutes of drying my hair. I have sensitive skin and have used Aveeno products for years to keep itchy dry skin at bay. I initially liked the shine of my hair but quickly felt severe stinging and pain requiring me to rewash my hair with another product and take an allergy tablet. Over the next few days the skin around my scalp and ears flaked badly and my scalp is still irritated since using the product a few weeks ago. I am so glad I hadn’t used it in the shower. It is so disappointing that a product from a company renowned for producing products for sensitive skin caused this outcome. It was a complete waste of money and should come with a health warning.

I have wavy to curly hair (2c/3a) with oily roots, dry lengths and prone to build-up. My usual cleansing shampoo (Cantu) for curly hair was out of stock, so I thought I would try this one, as it said sls free (supposedly better for curly hair) and cleansing. Didn't work for me at all. Not only this shampoo made my roots greasy, (and I always dilute my shampoo with water to avoid a product build-up) but it also dried out my hair lengths, even after using my usual conditioner. My hair was a tangled mess. Glad my cantu cleansing shampoo is back in stock because I won't be repurchasing that one. Will probably upcycle it as a shower gel.

I was looking for a shampoo suitable for my sore scalp, and as I have been using the Aveeno body lotion for years and always found it a very valid product, I thought this shampoo would be just the right product I was looking for. However the same cannot be said by this Aveeno hair care product. I felt like I needed to wash my hair at least 3 times to feel the least lather forming, and although thoroughly rinsed, I have to agree with other reviews as this does leave a greasy residue. It also washes out permanent hair dye so it can't be that good for a sore scalp. I have been using this shampoo for a month giving it a chance to work and my hair and scalp time to adapt, but sadly, not for me and I would not recommend.

Très bon produit, laisse une très bonne odeur Seulement, au moment du rinçage j'ai l'impression que ça emmêle pas mal les cheveux.
