Great little reliable quality CB at a great price! The main disadvantage with this rig is that it doesn't come with an integrated signal strength (db) meter but these meters are rarely calibrated accurately on many CB's anyway! Plus the quality and the efficiency of the antenna, the coax cable and the coax fittings can all affect readings on such meters so they are of little use anyway. If you want a reliable rig at a good price for general CB communication then you can't go wrong with this little baby. I've had two working for five years now without any problem's so they get five stars from me!

I bought this radio for use in a marine environment and have had no problem with it. It is used to keep in contact with friends who have their own boats and find it invaluable and easy to use. Using this radio saves cluttering up VHF channels and with the 40 channels a conversation can be held between boats without others breaking into the channels in use.

Display went after a couple of weeks..could tell what channel I was on.buy cheap you get cheap..lesson learned

cant wait to get all set up its being used as a home unit so waiting on swr meter and shortening coaxail cable as its too long
