Moves quite a bit of air for its class
Awesome little fan. It's quiet when not needed and is still quiet when it needs to move some air, and it REALLY moves some air. Matches perfectly with the cooler I got with it too. I like the additional hardware it came with, very easy to install.

You know what this is for, and it's the best at it
It's a Thermalright and does a great job. Very quiet, comes with screws to hold in place. Note that you have to figure out what side is the exhaust and what's the intake, but take a few seconds looking at the angle of the blades and you'll figure it out (or just plug it in and see which way it spins).

Does what it is supposed to
Does what it’s designed to do, it spins and moves air. I wish they could daisy chain, since the only real application for 80mm case fans is in small PC cases, and micro ATX/mini ITX boards only have 2-3 fan connections. If you’re buying these, you know what they do, and hopefully how many connections you have vs how many you need. I hooked 2 of these up to a fan hub connected to one of the chassis fan headers on my MB, and they work fine. No wobble or noticeable noise. Not the quietest fans I’ve ever used but not noisy by any means. If you want 80mm white case fans, these are basically your only option. Paired nicely with my ThermalTake Core V1 mini ITX case.

squeals after a year
always ran it at low speeds (1000 rpm) started squealing after a year

I've got no complaints about the performance of the fans themselves, they're great; good quality 80mm fans are only offered by so many brands, and the named alternatives are many times more expensive than these. I just wish Thermalright currently produced these in black.

I bought 2 of these in 2023 Oct, today it is 2024 Aug. They are making squealing and scratching sounds. Looks like the bearings in them have died. I would not recommend this to anyone. I have other thermalright fans which work fine (120mm)

plugged in and tested before mounting glad i did it spun for 2 seconds then stopped, spun it with my finger started for 2 seconds and stopped no good right out of the box.
