If My Dog Could Speak I’m Pretty Sure He’d Recommend the Pup Pals Grinder
I’ve been a dog lover basically from my birth, and I’ll be one until my death. Part of loving dogs is caring for them in ways they can’t care for themselves, and pruning their constantly growing nails is one such love-task. In times past I tried the dog-nail clippers but they were way too stressful, both for my dog as well as myself. Clip too deep once and here comes the blood - nope, not again. So last year I bought a dog nail grinder and used it on my dog. It worked - after a tug-of-war with my dog who didn’t want to let me hold his paws - but the motor seemed rather weak. So when I spotted the PUP PALS Dog Nail Grinder - especially noting the “5 LED Light” - I knew I wanted to try it out. A few notes from my experience: * Without a doubt this grinder is more heavy duty than the other one I have. The tactile feel of it indicates a better built, higher quality product. * As stated earlier, one of the features which caught my eye was the 5 LED’s. After using this grinder I certainly believe that is a stand-out feature, especially if you are using the grinder in low-light conditions. * I only used Port 3 of the grinder when making the video. However, next time I plan on pulling the ported cap off and use Port 1 - the full wheel - since that may help simplify the nail job of my dog. * There are a couple minor issues with the grinder which keeps me from giving 5 Stars. For one, I’ve grown very partial with power cords which have USB-C adapters - this one doesn’t have that. Secondly, there’s no way to check the battery charge unless the grinder is hooked up and is charging.

Works Well!
Works great! Very quiet so dog isn’t afraid. I give her peanut butter on a lick mat, distracts her and I can get her nails shortened very quickly.

It Works
Item is decently quiet and works well. The light really does not work well. Better to use a flashlight. Its worth the price.

Really Great Tool if you don't want to cut your dog's quick and they do not like their paws handled
My dog is skittish and does not like her paws handled. Cutting her nails was a drudgery for me because she would pull her paw away before I could really see where I was cutting. There were many times I cut the quick which would bleed. She did not want me cutting her nails. With the grinder she was nervous at first but she is warming up to it because it does not hurt her and I do not have nail clippers in my hands. We both like it.

Exceeded all my expectations!
Right out of the box, this nail grinder exceeded all my expectations. It is powerful, quiet, fits perfectly in your hand for excellent maneuverability getting to the toenails. The diamond grinding wheel is excellent and works fast. I have 8 miniature schnauzers and I was able to use it on all of them despite them hating other grinders I’ve tried over the years. I will strongly suggest this nail grinder to any and everyone I see on the dog show circuit!

Scared dog
The buzzing and movement of the grinding wheel freaked her out. Can't get her to let me use it, scares her

Easy to use, very quiet
I have two poms and one is more scared of nail trimming than the other. One did absolutely fine with it. I did find you have to be careful with it or it will split their nails. The. Second I was able to do her 2 back feet in one sitting which surprised me. I thought I would only get to one. She was scared but I could slowly see tension decreasing because it wasn’t noisy. It was more the situation itself. So, slowly I’ll introduce it. The lowest setting really didn’t do much but the highest setting was much better, the cord makes it easy to use since it is USB. I would recommend this for any scared dog.
