I really love this thing. I got the Twelve South AirFly SE so I could use my AirPods with the airplane screen instead of dealing with those terrible wired headphones they hand out. It works with any 3.5mm aux jack, so I also use it at the gym and with my older TV at home. Super easy to use. No app, no complicated setup. You just turn it on, press the button, and it connects to your headphones in seconds. I was honestly surprised how simple it was. The connection stays stable the entire flight — no cutting out, no dropouts, just solid audio the whole time. Sound comes through clear with no noticeable delay, which was my biggest concern before buying it. Battery life is crazy good. I get over 20 hours on a single charge, so I never worry about it dying mid-flight. It charges with USB-C and you can even use it while it is charging. The little volume buttons on the side are nice too for quick adjustments. The build feels solid, durable, and stable. It plugs into the aux jack snugly and does not wiggle or come loose, even when I bump into the seat in front of me. I have been tossing it around in my travel bag for months and it still works perfectly. It is tiny, barely bigger than a USB stick, and comes with a little pouch so it is easy to keep track of. For the price, this is great value. I use it way more than I expected — flights, gym, TV, older audio stuff. It just works. Easy recommendation.

This product is perfect for travel. Pairing it with my AirPods Pro was ridiculously simple, turn it on, press the button, and it connects without any fuss, and the audio stays clear with no noticeable delay, even when watching movies on in-flight screens. The battery life is honestly the best part; it really does last over 20 hours, and I’ve gone through multiple flights and workouts before needing to recharge. It’s lightweight, easy to throw into a travel pouch, and feels sturdier than I expected for its size. The only thing I wish it had was dual-headphone pairing like the higher-end model, but for the price, the reliability and sound quality make it absolutely worth it. If you use wireless headphones and travel even occasionally, this little device makes the whole experience a lot better.

I purchased this product to play my ancient Microsoft Zune in my new Mazda as no other connection is possible through the audio system now that the 3.5mm audio jack is no longer available. It worked perfectly. I just set up the bluetooth connection which my car recognized immediately and plugged in the 3.5 mm jack into the headphone jack of the Zune and voila, clear audio as good as having it hard wired. Fidelity is great. I may have to purchase a second one in case this unit ever fails, just so I have a spare.

My computer bluetooth was no longer working, so I needed a bluetooth to audio connection adapter so I can continue to listen to music while working. This was one of the first products to show up, and seeing the reviews, it seemed like it works great, so I decided to order this and try using it. I do not regret it! First off it was easy to connect the first time to my earphones and plug into my computer. Easy to put away, especially because of its small size and little bag included. The sound is also great compared to my earphones originally with no static at all. Also to those wondering, it connects not only to Apple products but also any other earphones or headphones. I couple things to watch out for though, is that first off the sound would sometimes cut off and you would have to restart the AirFly device to reconnect the sound. Usually it disconnects on average (For me) about every 30 - 60 minutes when using for prolonged time. Also, sometimes the sound would start going a bit bad, and usually to fix it, I would have to restart my earphones to fix it. Although after using it for more times, the problem becomes less of a problem and occurs less often. Overall 4 stars for its usefulness, but also for its time-to-time problems.

I've been using this for years. It takes up almost no space in my electronics bag. It connects to airpods easily. I can even walk up and down the aisles while listening to the movie. Recharge at your destination and its ready to go!

Works great!. It was a gift and he was thrilled. He has used it on a few flights with no issues. Arrived quickly at the holidays.

This Bluetooth transmitter works OK. It gets easily paired with my wireless headphones. The sound quality though is plain, no bass; I am not even sure if the sound is stereo. My major issue, however, is not a sound but a battery. I bought the device about 20 months ago and used it occasionally, not every day. Unfortunately, I recently noticed that it is not getting charged anymore. Manual advices to doubt click on “+” (volume up) button to inquire the battery status and check the indicator. Well, the indicator in my transmitter does not blink at all. I can still use the device when it is connected to the charger. But understandably it is not the way it is supposed to be used onboard of the airplane. As usually, return window is closed and additional warranty not purchased. This must be a lesson for me.

It was nice to have this device to wirelessly connect to the airplane video. I usually watch on my iPad, but for long flights it is nice to watch the screen in the seat...better eye level. The quality was good. The one drawback for me was the fact that to connect to this device it kicked me off all other devices that my headphones remembered via bluetooth. For example, when I turn my wireless noise canceling headphones on, it tells me I am connected to both my phone and my iPad. I can easily switch back and forth. For some reason to connect to this device it wipes out the connections to my other devices. Was not hard to reconnect with my phone later, but it wanted to go through the bose app to reconnect to my iPad (asking for wifi connectivity) which I did not have on my 7 hour flight. I am guessing there is a way around this, but it was a bit inconvenient.

Due to the delay added in the audio path the video and audio get out of sync. This makes it very annoying to watch any movies in flight.

Easy connection to devices. Uninterrupted and clear sound. Long battery life. Great range if needed

Works with my Apple air pods pro. Connected easily but dropped out a few times over a 5 hr flt. Had to power off and back on to reconnect. Happy thus far.
