Great way to charge type C's and have 1gb Ethernet
Thinking about it, it would be great if this had a female type C port for the output, that way you would be able to use varying length cables to accommodate the situation. Otherwise this is great and with a coupler or a type C extender you can have Ethernet to your device while it is charging and that is great.

Works as is right out of the box
Got this to run my Chromecast on Ethernet instead of WiFi and add a USB drive to keep all the apps off the Chromecast. Right out of the box it works great with the USB and power block that come with the Chromecast. Probably been about 2 months now with no issues. Would definitely recommend. Maybe if you load up the adapter you may need a more powerful charging block.

Great Addition to My Desktop Situation
I was having trouble with USB keyboard and mouse connectivity because my CPU is under my desk and in a corner. I bought this to connect with an extension cable so my keyboard and mouse USBs could be on my desk top and closer to my devices. It works great for that. It's also nice to not have to climb under my desk when I need to use a flash drive or other USB device. I've had for about a month and so far it works great!

Great for turning your Google tv into a media centre
Very solidly built unit that draws less power than comparable USB hubs which allows you to use it with the Chromecast Google tv without adding a power source. This allows you to plug in a webcam or slot in portable hard drives and jump drives with ease. Well worth the slightly more expensive price.
