It doesn't the job thanks a lot

Works great to control odor in my indoor collection bucket. I throw in a small hand full every couple of days. It "prestarts" the composting process as we dump our indoor collection to the outdoor bins weekly. Used in this way a 2 lb bag lasts me about a year so don't be fooled by the size and price. Suggest that you keep the bag inside a metal can with a tight lid to deter mice.

Fantastic product. Keeps my countertop compost stink-free and keeps the fruits flies away as well. Love this product. Just sprinkle a bit every time youput something new in the compst bin and voila! your're already breaking down the materials before you add it to your main compost bin.
