What is the difference between this puppy food and the other barking heads puppy days?

Is this large breed version suitable for a Labrador?

Yes, this would be suitable for a Labrador puppy. We now use the large breed adult version for our 6 year old Golden Retriever.

The packet I have clearly stated for small adult dogs so not sure which one you have received.

At what point for barking head dry large breed dogs do they change to adult food from puppy food. I have a 12 month old gold retriever .

Medium to large breed dogs need to be on Puppy food for a minimum of 12 months with the biggest of breeds remaining on Puppy food for around 18 months. For you breed of dog, I would suggest remaining on Puppy food for another month or two and slowly introducing adult food up until 18 months. From then on they can be on adult food (once fully on adult food we would recommend some kind of rotational feeding with different flavours e.g. chicken / lamb / duck etc to maximise health benefits). Hope that helps but do check with your vet if you need a more tailored and specific recommendation and always feed the feeding guides on pack.
