I have a personal conviction that if I can imagine something that I want, then someone somewhere has it for sale. This handle storage chest bears that up.I needed an attractive and sturdy container to store my grandchildren's toys in. I live in a townhouse and needed it to look nice in my living room, stand up to my grandchildren leaning into it, double as extra seating -- AND stow nicely under an entry table. Voila! It's impressive for the money. Now it's not what I'd call heirloom furniture but it's a great price and rated for 300 lbs. As a toy box it holds a lot more toys than a few grandkids can play with in an evening. One of the best features as a toybox is that the hinges stay open at any angle. I've attached a picture with the lid open at a little less than 45 degrees. No worry about the lid dropping on little fingers.Assembly is required but the instructions are easy to follow and the parts are included. You will definitely benefit from using an electric drill driver. I was able to put it together by myself in an hour or so, but it would have been easier with an extra pair of hands to hold things in place.As a note, one of the nuts in my packet had wonky threads and wouldn't work right. I notified the seller and they have been very responsive.

I use this storage bin as a seat for my makeup table. It is very sturdy. I like how it is not to long or wide. I did add a 30 inch seat cushion. I have a lot of room to hide items that normally would sit out in the open.

Love it cause it makes my room look more aesthetic and it was really easy to assemble and I can fit a bunch of the thick winter blankets. Recommend it

Easy to assemble, we used two people, but definitely could set it up as just one person. It’s sturdy and holds a tons of shoes, hats and gloves. The color is really nice also!

Item came as described! Color is on point. Directions pretty good. The spots in the lid were not drilled enough to get the screws in. I have arthritis in my hands so I could not do it by hand. I drilled the holes a bit more with drill bit. This is particle board and the bottom was filmsy.

I bought this chest mainly to put our cats food dish on to prevent the dogs from eating it, but I also wanted something to maximize storage.It was easy to assemble. While you can tell the materials aren't exactly high quality, for a cheaper piece of furniture its surpasses expectations.The best part about this chest, however, is that for months it has stood up to cats jumping/climbing on and off of it, and children running around and yet it still looks nice sitting in a high traffic area.It also holds a pretty large amount of linens (towels, table cloths, occasionally a sheet or two) which allowed our hall closet to no longer be overflowing.

Real easy to assemble and the perfect size bit fits in perfectly were I planned to put it. Highly recommend
