Easy to install and use

Great addition to the Journey pick ups.
I put this in when I installed the pickups. They had a lot of treble, finger and string noise with this volume knob open. I turned the volume down a bit hooked up straight into my 15-inch Peavey dark matter powered speaker and it's amazing. It sounds just like the acoustic guitar only amplified. A must have IMO. I mounted it on the bottom of the sound hole, so the cables were too short, and I had to turn it around, so... the adhesive already installed was on the wrong side. I had to use my own adhesive. Journey pickups with this are about as good as it gets. Without it I would have to EQ the pickup. I mounted the pickups with double sided tape under the bridge. They overhang the reinforcement board a bit but doesn't seem to hurt the volume output of these pickups. They do need a volume control. I like where I have them, if they fall off, I will super glue them in place.

I was very hopeful but...
I like the ease of plug and play but it never worked properly. It was creating static or noise at any setting other than full volume. I was open to try a replacement but I waited too late to do it through Amazon. I finally removed it after having to borrow someone else's guitar because the volume control wouldn't work at all on the guy's amp even at full. However, my Journey pickup sounds amazing.

Quality Pickup.
The Journey is great but the little volume wheel is a Not much in my opinion. I can turn it up or down with the Boost pedal.

Installed on my Taylor guitar with LR Baggs pickup. Plug and play, very easy!

Easy install and does what it should!
Easy install and does what it should! Plugs into the pickup and the self adhesive wire holders keep wires out of the way! The control tucks away neatly out of sight inside the soundhole.

If you bought the journey pickup but this too It's cheap for what it is and it goes in in five minutes. Easy install, simple use it's a volume wheel. Sound quality is actually better as well bc you can tune the output to the amp DI or IR or whatever you're running into.

Could have been a better ergonomic design. Too boxy and cheap feeling wheel. It does work though.
