Zinus Jessica Upholstered Metal Headboard, Easy Assembly, Queen, Grey

This summer I bought a Zinus mattress to "try it out" as part of a pretty massive move where I had to buy a lot of new stuff. I was so happy with the mattress that I bought the Zinus bed frame. I was super pleased with that. It looks good. It's sturdy. It provides ample storage space. The only problem was that my room looked really empty without a headboard. Going to furniture stores I was finding headboards for hundreds of dollars. I bought this one as an open box deal and got it for $60 delivered. It went together well and it fit perfectly. The thing looks really great and my bedroom has less of a dorm room feel and more of a "single professional dude lives here" feel. My price was great but I think the quality absolutely justifies it at $100 as well. The only criticism I have is that the screws that secure the headboard to the frame are incredibly long. Like, they protrude at least 2-3 inches past the leg. This meant I could have it stick out under the bed and cut back my storage space or pull the bed a little further from the wall. Not a loss of function. It was just a little odd considering I used it with the company's frame. I could replace those bolts with a quick trip to Lowes but it isn't really much of a bother. Everything else was pretty perfectly machined and considered.

My bedroom set is a little more farmhouse style but i was looking for a sturdy metal headboard to match my new frame, so I came across this one. At first I thought the screw holes didn’t match but that’s because the thicker part of the pieces have to be facing outward, then the holes line up perfectly. I installed this by myself and the hardware included has super long bolts but it doesn’t bother me just be sure to face the ends toward the inside. I also added a thin foam square in between the headboard and frame because it did make a clinging noise at first now it’s stable and silent. Definitely worth the price and easy to attach and build.

Like I said.. decent headboard. Easy to assemble and attach to bed frame.. with a nice modern simple look . The padding though .. and the fabric used is pretty cheap and while it looks just fine.. upon closer inspection you will immediately see that it will flatten out (the cheap foam padding) and sag and stretch ( the fabric used is some cheap stretchy synthetic polyester) over time. It works fine for me .. l use it on guest bed that gets only occasional use

This is the second product by Zinus I've purchased in the last couple of weeks, with the first being a queen platform bed frame. I cannot stress enough how absolutely impressed I am with this company!! First, packaging is phenomenal. No extra nonsense, relatively frustration-free, and straightforward. Second, the instructions - oh, the instructions - what a blessing these things are!! Parts are labeled in a way that you cannot mess this up: #1 on one part lines up with #1 on a corresponding part, A lines up with A on a corresponding part, screws and bolts are clearly labeled, ALL holes line up and are drilled all the way through when needed, etc. THIS is how "assembly required" furniture SHOULD be designed!! Next, the quality of the parts are clearly designed to last longer than a couple of years...MUCH longer. No issues with the paint, no chintzy pieces that feel like they're going to break while you're putting them together, etc. Finally, once fully assembled, there are no wobbles, squeaks, creaks, nothing. It simply works the way it's supposed to work, period. Finally, the value for the money is clearly there. With all things being considered equal, there is absolutely no question in my mind whatsoever that should I need any other furniture items, I'm going to see if Zinus makes it, first, and then order without a moment's hesitation. Being that again, this is the second item I've ordered from this brand and I am so thoroughly impressed with them, suffice it to say that I cannot say enough great things about them! If you are even REMOTELY on the fence about ordering ANY Zinus product, please let me put your mind at ease: BUY IT! You will not regret it for a fraction of a second, and I would stake my reputation on it!

The assembly was so easy; I got it together myself, didn't even bother with the instructions, and it only took minutes. I could also break this headboard back down into its 5 parts in 5 minutes, and it would easily fit into the trunk of any car. This headboard is softly padded where it counts, but the frame is rock solid. The rectangular metal tubing locks together with nice hefty hex bolts that are no joke. It will not wiggle; no matter how I try to rack it. I am guessing its over engineered, and that's not a complaint. The hex bolts match a thick hex wrench, and everything about this feels stronger than is probably necessary for holding the headboard together. It feels like a strong bonded finish; maybe electrostatic or powder coat; but not gloss. Its a nice muted matte finish. Its in no way delicate. My 60-inch wide queen headboard is a bit heavy, and it should be. The whole frame is metal. Its not light gauge either; it has real weight. The delivery box was deceptive in two ways; it was not shaped anything like a headboard, and it was a lot heavier than any wood headboard of comparable size. Given that this is a very inexpensive alternative to real wood headboards, I'm completely satisfied that this was the best choice for my decor. I trust this product to last, and I can see it would be easy to reupholster; should anyone want to bother. I happily recommend this product.

I can’t believe the excellent quality of this headboard. I thought for the price it would be good but probably a little flimsy. NOT AT ALL. The quality is just as good as something I’ve bought in the past for way more money. It’s very strong, easy to assemble. Every piece comes wrapped. Directions are so simple a child could do it. Every hole is numbered. It’s dummy proof really. And to top it off...it looks great!!!

Solo puedo decir: wow. Viene muy completo, trae pequeñas herramientas que facilitan el armado. La calidad es realmente buena para el precio. Acabo de comprar mi casa y no podía gastar demasiado dinero para arreglar mi recámara, pero quedó muy bella con este respaldo. Simplemente me encantó.

i did like it the headboard , it is exactly as the picture shown on the site , the reason i gave 4 stars are the following ( each reason one star less) ring and the mattress is orthopaedic , the bottom legs have a hole to insert it in the frame how ever mine do not have the hole and there fore there is not an alternative for me to keep it firm ( stillneed to figure it put) good looking board and super super easy to assemble ( 30 months ns or less)
