They are very wear resistant, but they run small, size-wise so I would order next size up.

Were the animal experiencing severe physical or emotional pain, and pursued and grabbed by someone lacking the proper training and skill to calmly, smoothly, and quietly capture the animal and immediately place the animal in a secure pre-prepared cage or crate, these gloves should provide sufficient protection. But if the handler lacked those skills, this would increase the probability that the animal's fear or determination to avoid capture could result in the animal clamping on to the glove much harder. In that case, the probability of human injury would increase.
