This product has been a complete game changer in knowing where you stand on a flea issue in the home. Not only is it safe for your pets, but it is also very efficient in catching fleas. I only brought one at the time, as I was a sceptic, but I would buy another in the future, just to catch them quicker. A good trick I found, in just having the one lamp at the time of the issue, is to first count any flea numbers on the sticky pad in the morning and then just move it around the home where your pet would walk and sleep during the day or night each day, ensuring all other lights are off in that room, so they are drawn to the light of that lamp. Fleas are most active from the dusk point of the day, so I just kept checking the numbers in the morning (be aware before picking the lamp up, that you may see one right near the lamp that has not yet jumped onto the pad or sitting on top of the plastic lamp this didn't happen a lot but it did happen to which I just caught them with washing up liquid). I even found it to be a benefit to place the lamp under a bed where you would walk around the frame or under the sofa....even after treating the home and pet, just to know where you stand on the issue at hand. We recently had an issue in the home and typically did all the right things you could do to help it, this device was brought to assist that issue which has been a true help and now gives us peace of mind after tackling the issue we had in the home going forward. The bulb has lasted about a month now and is still going strong the sticky pad was changed after 3 weeks. It is good to know that this product is very easy to put together and take apart to change the pad or bulb although the plastic frame feels a little flimsy. I hope this helps someone as at the time I was trying everything to get the issue sorted quickly. This product is a 10/10 from me as it worked and helped a lot. Just so you are also aware we treated the pet in the home and fogged the home and this lamp still caught 3 fleas a week after the fogging. For me, this product does its job and gives a helping hand and peace of mind. I will buy another in the future to cover all the most busy rooms of the house.

We bough these because no matter what we did, we couldn't get rid of all the fleas. So we combined using these with flea tablets for our dog. We left it on in our bedroom during the day with the door closed and kept the dog out - I was surprised at how many fleas it caught. You do need to change the sticky pad about once a week, but you get spares with the kit. You also get spare light bulbs which is handy

I purchased this item as we discovered fleas in our living room after our cat had to be put to sleep. I don’t want to use any of the flea killing pesticides because of the impact they have on the wider insect population, they are decimating our aquatic insect life populations due to their ongoing use in domestic cat and dog populations. This came with 2 plastic domes, 4 sticky discs, and 6 light bulbs. It was straightforward to assemble. We had a problem with one bulb not lighting up immediately, but the instructions said to tighten the bulb further if this was the case, and this worked. The domes don’t overheat, and the light emitted is like a normal night light. I ordered extra sticky discs, but the instructions say to replace them after a couple of weeks, so there is a months supply provided as standard. We left the domes on overnight and found about half a dozen fleas next morning, and this morning another couple. We have also taken extra precautions hoovering thoroughly every day and washing and airing textiles more than normal. We will continue to put the traps down to monitor the situation. Good luck!

Absolutely a waste of money. Easy to assemble etc but the bulbs need changing every couple of days because they don’t last . I thought these traps would be really good, but only 1 flea was attracted to it. I tested the theory by placing a bowl of water in the room as well. The bowl of water attracted the fleas.... the flea trap didn’t. So wouldn’t recommend this product. Just a waste of money .

Would be a lot better if it wasn't made so crazy cheap. Does the job but don't expect it to last long.

Admittedly, I assumed these were just going to be rubbish but I was willing to try and I had my doubts. I've had an ongoing war with fleas on and off. I have one cat And especially in the summer, fleas can become a nightmare and I've tried various different methods. These however shocked me. I left them on all night and the amount of fleas that were captured was shocking And I don't really get flea bites or notice many fleas. I only noticed this from this light how large the populations were They definitely help bring the population down and with regular cleaning and other methods as well as grooming, your car will lead to a total eradication of the fleas these lights definitely help bring down the population and the fleas do become trapped and stuck on the hot glue. I've seen on other reviews that people are saying the fleas get out of the glue. This is not true when the light's been left on it heats the glue up. So once the fleas land in this hot glue, they have no chance to escape and you'll be very surprised how many fleas these things can catch. Obviously If you are not finding many fleas on them, you should perhaps change different rooms and then you can estimate how large the flea population is. They're definitely worth the money and I recommend that you move them around into different rooms on different days. Reducing the flea population :)

This flea dome is more substantial than some of the others ! However the bulb blew as soon as it was plugged in on one, the other one lasted 20 hrs before the bulb died! You do not get any spare bulbs and only 2 sticky pads per dome. The most important thing is ……. If you do not want everyone to know you have a slight flea problem then DO NOT purchase these as they arrive in packaging stating FLEA TRAPS on the outside box !!!!!!

Does what it's supposed to do. I have vacuumed my floors endlessly, and sprayed them well, but the fleas are still around. This little trap is very good at trapping the ones that got away from me. I've had my traps running constantly since I purchased them, and the bulbs lasted on the trap that I plugged into a socket by itself. The second trap was plugged into a socket with a few gadgets already in use, this is when the bulb blew. I tried another bulb and the same thing happened, blew after 5 hours. I then put this flea trap in a socket by itself, and the bulb has lasted - been running it for two days now without a problem.

4.5 sterne, es wurden viele Flöhe angezogen und eingefangen. Leichten Abzug gibt es für die Verarbeitung mit Kunststoff, v.a. die Lampenfassungen sind nicht ganz sauber gefertigt, bei 2 von 5 Fallen hatte ich Probleme. Klebefläche größtenteils gut, ein Viech hat es geschafft wieder loszuspringen, aber war offenbar nur minimal mit den Beinen gefangen. Die anderen wurden gut festgehalten und hingen zumeist mit dem ganzen Körper fest. Tipp hier: kleine Klebestreifen Doppelseitiges Klebeband darüber kleben (sollte natürlich möglichst feuerfest sein, falls doch mal die Lampe durchbrennt o.ä.) Alles in allem zufrieden mit Funktion und Preis/Leistung

We were flea-free for years. Then we moved into a new apartment. I'm guessing the previous tenants had a severe problem with fleas because within weeks of moving in we were completely infested. Nothing worked! Not the prescription from our vet. Not foggers. No spray or powder or home-made remedy worked. I was vacuuming 3 and 4 times a day and still the fleas were horrendous. My cats were miserable. My husband and I were miserable. I bought the Trapest Sticky Dome, just looking for a little relief. OMG! It started making a difference within a week. The fleas were getting trapped on the sticky paper. Within a month, using the dome and the vet prescribed meds for my cats, we were not living in misery. No, just the trap won't cure the problem. You have to treat the entire problem, but the dome trap helped turn the tide for us after we moved into this mess. The way I figure it, once the flea is trapped in the dome, it can't lay any eggs. Fewer fleas laying eggs means fewer eggs hatching into more fleas. Our apartment is very small, so we only need the one trap. If you have a larger home you might need more than one. We keep it on 24/7 and change the sticky sheet regularly and that seems to help even more. In the first weeks and months the trap would fill up fast and be completely covered with fleas. After about 6 months the sticky sheets aren't filling up fast at all and we are catching fewer and fewer fleas. For anyone who has a severe flea infestation, I highly recommend this product.
