Rigid Industries D-SS PRO - Spot - Dual Side Shooter - Set of 2 - Black Housing

Installation: These were very easy to install. I have an Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel so I just cut the battery connectors off and wired to that. Mine are hood mounted and bolted directly to my hood bracket. This set comes with the wiring and switch. To make these work without using the included switch, simply cut the female connectors of the red and blue switch wires and connect those together while sealing the black wire from moisture. Quality: I have no way to currently test the output lumens but these do function as described at 3 volts. I trust that Rigid is accurate with light output based on this. The lights themselves are not as focused as I would have expected for a spot pattern but illuminate as far and better than my highbeams on my 22 ram truck. The spread of the lights are awesome and illuminate to sides very well. Driving at night through switchbacks has never been better. Overall: These are a great addition and would say they live up to Rigid's reputation. I would have liked a more focused spot pattern but I am still 5 star satisfied. These produce ample light and have a nice consistent spread. I have zero concerns about durability.

I used these to replace my two old 7 year old first generation Rigid Dually spots. These new spots make the old ones look like an incandescent flashlight. The side shooters are very bright too, lighting up I'd say a 100 degree arc to the side.. they actually shine light a little bit backwards. I can no see what is along side of the Jeep very clearly, but it isn't too bright to be distracting. Jeep A-Pillar notes: These are great on the A-Post of a jeep (next to the windshield). However, you will need to put some black tape or paint over the inside corners of the lens. Because the clear lens wraps around, you will get some light bouncing back at your face off the inside sides of the lens. The side shooters only shine out the outside side each light. It's just some spillage that comes back in your face off the insides.I just cut a piece of black tape and covered the inside corner of the lens.

This is my first set of high end leds. I gotta say there is a huge difference. These are amazing. If you are considering a set of these don’t hesitate. I bought the spot beam for my a pillar mounts and there is almost no spill over of light on my white hood and fenders. The lights are very powerful and the wiring harness that was included was a no nonsense easy install took 20 minutes including securing the wires. I don’t regret the money I spent for these at all.

These lights are better then I expected! They can truly hit the ditch. Along with dead ahead. You won't go wrong buying them

The perfect combination of spot light and wide-angled side shining LEDs. I put them on my BMW R1200 GS for daytime running lights and nighttime visibility distance and wide-angled light. Rigid lights are expensive but what can you do? I also bought yellow covers for them which work really well and stay put.

Great quality construction, burly mounting bracket and nice wiring harness included. Spot beam pattern is pretty tight, but not a super amount of light like I expected considering the huge price premium, but I guess you're paying for the great build quality. The "side shooters" don't do a whole lot unfortunately, but slightly better than nothing

Ok, so I was extremely skeptical about spending $275 on these lights but I thought “you get what you pay for and it’s Amazon so returns are easy enough” lemme tell ya, these little pods will brighten up your life all the way from the deepest pits of despair. I plugged them in just to see what the hype was about and they lit up the night. The neighbors rooster started crowing thinking it was sunrise. The fact that they light up 90° to the sides as well is awesome. As long as they don’t get any moisture in them they’re well worth the coin.
