The tip is too pointy, the bamboo is splintery and will catch.Fixed all of that in 10minutes with some sandpaper.I spend about an hour making one of these, and I charge 85/hour so these are much cheaper than if I make my own. After a little sanding, and a coat of safflower oil, these are really nice.edit: The variety of sizes is pretty versatile too. all in all this is a pretty great deal. I've finished sanding all of them -- I found that they are very easy to sand if you glue a piece of paper down and rub the thing against the paper instead of the other way round. Yes. I am happy with these. (I did have a shipping thing happen where two shipments arrived and in one of them, one of the shuttles had been broken, but that's the set I returned. If you get ones you don't like, you might do well to return them and buy them again, it seems like the kind of item that might not always come out real well, due to variations in natural materials, bamboo is a great material, and there are some amazing things being done with it.

Ordered one set. They arrived with spots of black mold and were very poorly finished. Unusable. Sent them back and received a second set. These have less mold, but are also very poorly finished and are not usable.

Surprise g quality. Only issue I had was the smaller sizes which too small for my application, although I may now make some smaller nets in the near future.

I had to go online to figure out how to get the string started as I'd never used one before. But super easy to get a bunch of string wrapped in no time and makes putting up deer netting in the veg garden so much faster.
