Very handy for places you need to access repeatedly.

Excellent... they do what they do what theyre supposed to do... be sure you have the installation tool.

I didn't think about needing a longer mandrel to use these but went with the manual method and it worked good. Exactly what we needed

They worked, but I had to use plyers on the washer head to hold backup to get them set, once set they worked great. How ever there should have been vertical splines or ribs to hold back up til you got them set in place

I use these to repair plastic tables that have wood screws holding the legs on drilled out the plastic and installed then used machine screws to finish the job works grate

These were perfect for repairing broken, rusted out threads in my sewage basin. First, I tried using the rivnuts, but those failed to hold in plastic. Rivnuts seem to not have enough surface grip to work in plastic even if it's thick. These, on the other hand were the perfect solution. The only down side is that the ruvnut tool shank was too short to use with these. They are longer than ruvnuts before they are locked in, so instead I made a custom tool using a bolt, some nuts, and washers. That did the trick. Once locked in, these will not move. Lots of surface area to grip, so even in plastic with strong torque on the bolts, these did not spin once locked in. Strongly recommend.
