This knife is ridiculously good for the price. It's comparable to other brands costing over 5 times the price. It has a comfortable full tang handle with good fit and finish, and it came with a very sharp edge which it holds it well. The blade thickness is just right, not too thick or too thin. A+

Excellent chef's knife. Quite sharp, sturdy, feels good in the hand. Chop vegetables, mince garlic, I have even used it to cut thick steaks from bone-in ribeye roasts, and to carve a turkey! I've had it for over a month, still sharp. At this price, if it gets dull I'll just buy another one!

Great knife so far. Really good balance right at the bolster. Nice grip feel. Came sharp. Blade thickness is good. Has good weight as well. Gonna put it to the test next week and see how the edge holds up and how it takes the stone. Not to mention the price. If this knife is reliable then I will be pleasantly surprised.

I am amazed at the quality of this knife for the price. I have another chefs knife I paid over a hundred dollars for and does the job equally as well. Great balance, full riveted tang and supper sharp heavy blade.

I bought it because a friend recommended it. The knife is strong quality and sold at a super reasonable prices; even more because it often has promo discounts. If it wasn’t because of the blade shape I would give 5 starts

Well made, great price, razor sharp!

Needed a new chef's knife on relatively short notice, decided to go for the gamble. Came very sharp out of the box and it holds an edge well. I only have to sharpen mine about once a week or so with daily usage. Unfortunately it did not come with a blade cover so I am having to repurpose an old one I have but for less than $10 it still a steal for the quality. Just annoying that the Amazon Basics logo is laser engraved on it as a reminder. But great knife overall.

I bought this on sale as a bit of a lark. I have expensive, sharp knives. To my surprise this knife is excellent. It has a nice balance, it feels good in your hand and is sharp and holds an edge WOW. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS KNIFE even at its original price which is inexpensive
