SPY GEAR Video Walkie Talkie

We've had a few pairs of walkie talkies in the house that have been underwhelming. I think it's one of those toys that sounds cool on paper, buy you soon realise that there's not much covert work a child can really do, apart from report back on their parents downstairs, or spy on the dog. These walkie talkies add a new twist in that they have a built in camera. And they work really well! The picture quality is pretty good and you can go hands free if you wish. The one thing this gives is the ability to leave one pointing somewhere like a CCTV setup. Now my little angel can spy on us watching TV all by himself and note down any time I get up to make a cuppa. The issue has always been that the range on these is never good enough and they soon break up over 100M. This means you can actually hear what they're saying half the time without need the walkie talkies at all! But hey, these definitely got more use than the usual voice-only offerings and are still sitting on his active toys table. I'd reccomend 'em. They're good fun

My son loves these and they work pretty effectively, although we haven't yet tried them over any distances

Not very good quality for the price and are slow when talking to each other, you loose half the conversation.

Not great, picture quality awful range pants and sound is diabolical

These have been a great hit with my 10 year old, no wifi required which is great if he's outside playing with his friends.

Original purchase from High St proved faulty and redress was slow and difficult to obtain. Amazon purchase was delivered quickly and works well much to delight of grandson who was really disappointed at Christmas

Good toy i was told sound & range could improve

These supplied my grandson with lots of fun over Christmas. Work really well but be prepared to need plenty of batteries!

Pour un adulte, ce jouet paraîtra fabriqué dans un plastique de qualité moyenne et l'image comme le son sembleront sans doute de mauvaise qualité. Mais finalement, il s'adresse aux enfants et force est de constater que c'est un succès: immédiatement adopté pour le jeu, les 2 modes (talkie-walkies ou micro-espion) fonctionnent bien et les enfants peuvent s'amuser des heures avec (on apprécie moins quand ils s'amusent avec l'effet Larsen pendant ce qui semble être des heures). Les piles tiennent assez bien et plusieurs mois après l'achat, ils me semblent partis pour durer.
