Very neat unit only used it once and it worked perfectly after that it didn't work at all, sent it back to Parker but after a month never got a replacement, but eventually got a refund. Wouldn't recommend.

Bought this to replace my old Halfords charger that had given up the ghost. Firstly, I wanted a 30-amp charger that would charge a flat battery quickly and after looking at several chargers I decided on this unit mainly as it was a reasonable price and had 12 & 24-volt options.This is a heavy unit with power on switch, Amp meter and two voltage selections but comes with rather short leads both for the mains supply and output leads to connect to the battery. The short leads mean you can’t set the charger on the ground but need to set it inside the engine area which makes things a bit awkward. The unit feels solid enough and should service for years, but time will tellThe alternator on my wife's 2.0 TDI C-Max had developed a fault, so this charger was used to charge an almost flat battery. The charger initially started charging the 85 AH battery at 5 amps but then checking 30 minutes later was charging at 20Amps and then later was charging at 17 Amps, Great. I left it charging for about 3 hours then tried to start the car and the starter motor fired up the engine on first turn of the key. Although in theory not yet fully charged the car started and I took it to our mechanic late in the evening with headlights on and got there with no problems, Happy days.Overall, I'm pleased with this charger and would recommend excepting the rather short leads have only given 4 stars.

Everything works as described and looks well made. Even when on boost charge it's absolutely quiet

Having problems with my car battery only holding charge for 1 or 2 days, and knowing it was the battery at fault I chose to order this charger and try and rescue the battery. Following the instructions I slowly charged the battery overnight, then used the boost setting for a couple of hours. With the battery fully charged I then refitted the battery to the car and have had no further issues six weeks later. Not only have I saved on the cost of a new battery, but 1 less battery needing recycled and I have a charger which hopefully will give service for years to come.

Excellent i was really surprised at the size, weight and quality of this charger. I charged my old Defender on low for 3 hours as it would not start. Now boom it starts like never before.

Great all round charger well made and should last for years.My only gripe with it is the charging leads are not very long (about 1 metre) so it has to be located in the engine bay for charging thus I've knocked off 1 star.Apart from that it's a great charger.
