This is a gorgeous carved wood stand. It can be used with the legs pulled out or closed underneath the platform. So it's very useful and versatile. We are very happy with the quality.

I’ll be honest, while I am supremely grateful to all of the wonderful “reviewers” out there, I rarely take the time to do the task. BUT… this magnificent item is so spectacular, beautifully crafted and designed and created with such intention, I’d be remiss if I didn’t share a comment. When you open the well-packed box, it’s packaged with great care to ensure it arrives to you as it was when boxed. The gorgeous scent of fresh wood, the intricacy of the detail of the carvings and the ease with which the piece comes together indicate craftsmanship that is tried and true. I absolutely love it. And I owned it for a whole 37 seconds before my darling husband (whose birthday was this weekend) exclaimed, “I want one!” So… mine arrives next week, and he’s already left me in the living room to run upstairs, dedicate and perform his first sacred ceremonial practice with his new altar. :) We’re very happy, and when yours arrives, you will be, too! I can’t wait till next Monday. :)

I ordered one of these tables a year ago and really liked it and needed to order another. I was going to put both of them together to create one large table. However, the newer version of this table is a bit bigger and wider than the older version. Also the older version is a gloss finish and is a bit lighter in shade. So I decided to buy a third so that I could put two together and use them as one. I contacted the seller and they made sure to send one out that would match the one I just received. It matches perfectly and so now I have three of these tables. They really are beautiful and well put together and Dharma Objects does a great job of packing and shipping.

Nice design BUT the small is very very small more like tiny should be in the description. It was too small for me and I returned it.

I am shocked, SHOCKED at how great this meditation table looks and feels. It is exactly as the description says - solid wood and hand carved. It came wrapped very carefully and there was no damage. The figurines are beautiful - there’s a dragon on the front face and two pigeons or maybe chicken (some kind of bird) on the two legs. It took 15seconds to assemble - I included the instructions in the photos so you can see all it took was pulling the legs out carefully, one at a time. I got the small size and it is now sitting on my window ledge. I put a large square pillow in front of it and now finally have a dedicated meditation spot. I am so happy. Even the cat likes the table but is not included with your purchase, sorry. This table looks gorgeous in my apartment and is even better than the photos and I am sure it will look good in any setting. Buy it, you need this table in your life! :)

I'm so thrilled with this table! I bought the medium sized and will buy all three eventually. It's beautifully crafted and so neat that it fold up for easy storage and carry. I suggest getting a soft shoulder bag for carrying it anywhere so it doesn't get scratched but it doesn't scratch easy thats for sure. I'm all about anything hand crafted in India and this is a perfect example as to why. I suggest getting a cloth to cover if it'll be a tea table as to not cause any damage either. The rice is more than fair for the quality as well. I'm very pleased.
