Levi's Women's Classic Trucker Jacket

Lots of reviews say this jacket runs really big. Apparently it's manufactured by many different contractors. I know this is the case many times with clothing. So, when this happens, you get random sizing. You can see this when you look at jeans in a store, of the same style and brand. Hold them up and you will get many different lengths and widths of waist band all labeled the same size. Anyway, fortunately mine came as an accurate size, and fit perfectly. I did like the dark color, only comment I would add about color, is that I liked the dark indigo blue that Levi used on their jacket better. It was prettier. (Problem with the levi jacket which I unfortunately had to send back, was the sizes run way small, and the XL was way too small. I did like the Levi better, but I can never get Levi brand anything to fit me right., The dark blue of this jacket is a more greyish dark blue, if that makes it any clearer. I noticed that the sleeves are more than long enough, going a bit over my hands. I threw it in the washer on hot right away, to see if it would shrink and how much. Yes it did shrink some, in the width of the bottom of the jacket, but not a great deal. (I dried it throughly in the dryer also) The material has a nice stretch to it, but not so much that it's going to stretch out and get baggy. So all in all, a good purchase.

I love this jacket. I got it in light blue (I can’t remember the color name). It is just what I wanted. I had the jacket in dark blue already, but I wanted a lighter colored one to wear with sundresses in the spring and summer. This light blue jacket is much softer than my dark blue one, which I really like. I got a medium and it fits just how I wanted. I am 5’ 7” and about 145 lbs, and the jacket is great - the shoulder seams are right on my shoulders, and it has a nice relaxed fit. It comes down to about the tops of my hips, but I have a fairly short torso, so your results may vary there. The jacket is thick enough to keep me warm in my cold office, but not so heavy that I’m uncomfortable outside on a warm-ish day. I’m sure I won’t want to wear it outside when the Texas summer really hits us, but for the rest of the year I can wear it comfortably. I like to roll up the sleeves sometimes, and the fabric is soft enough for it to be easy. The buttons are a little tight in the buttonholes, but I expect that to loosen up over time. I think the jacket is really cute and will only look better with age. I’m really glad I bought it!

My 3rd Levis trucker jacket - like the way they fit as opposed to other brands I have tried. The 2 previous ones purchased were the "boyfriend trucker jacket" which was not available in "clean white" color. I had to try a couple of different sizes with this one, ended up with the XL, which is OK. You have to search for the fabric content for each different color - because some are mostly cotton, with some stretch, some are cotton and polyester with stretch material; and they all have differing amounts of the stretch material (which may be listed as elastane, spandex, etc.).This one is 97% cotton with 3% elastane - which makes it a bit tighter than the 2 blue ones I purchased. Arms are a bit long, but that's OK, that is what I have to put up with, having to buy an XL so the rest of the jacket fits. All in all - a great buy and fashion style. Another photo on Amazon says this white jacket has a different fabric composition - so I am glad for all the reviews on this one.

I LOVE the color of this, fabric is SUPER soft and broken in. The fabric is the #1 reason why I selected it, saw another style (Boyfriend Trucker) in same color at the Levi's store in town but it was too long and too baggy. Oddly, the cropped version of this jacket in the very same size fit me perfectly in the store. Overall, the cut is *almost* perfect, it just runs a bit smaller than size would suggest in my opinion. Also, the patch pockets with flaps at the top are a bit small and placed on the high side. My chest is medium-sized so not the end of the world but if you have a large bust as compared to your body frame it's a good thing to keep in mind and you might want to size up--not for the least of which I'm a size 2 dress size but when I buttoned this all the way up there was gaping in the chest. Smaller chested ladies (small b cup or lower) would not have a problem here imo.LOVE everything else about it so I returned my XS for an S which I expect will fit well.

There are two things that would make this jacket better: a slightly more fitted cut. It is a little boxy. The other thing I'd like is availability in pure black. The faded black is okay, but I'd love it in a truer black. With that said, there is much to like. I like that it has side pockets and a little give. I am large busted and can get it buttoned because it has a little give. It washes nicely and the sleeves are the perfect length for me. They are not too snug. The weight is good -- heavy enough to provide a little warmth. It is soft and not stiff like denim can be. In my opinion, it is true to size. I'd say my frame is medium. If you are very tall and thin, this jacket may be too short for you. I'm 5'6". On me, the jacket goes just an inch or so past my waist.

If you are looking for a classic jean jacket, this is it. It fits true to size. My only issue is that the sleeves are a little short for a large size jacket. I am 5'10" and the sleeves don't cover my wrists completely. It's okay though because I can always roll the sleeves up like the photo or wear lots of layered bracelets to cover my wrists. I just wish that clothing manufacturers would understand that not all people who need a size large, need it because they are perhaps a little overweight but it could be because they are tall. Besides, wouldn't it be better to have the sleeves a little too long for someone who is shorter and more voluptuous than for them to be way too short for taller people?I am guessing that the photo shows the sleeves rolled up because models tend to be pretty tall and I'll bet the sleeves weren't long enough for her either.I'm still happy I got it because it is a nice jacket and, let's face it, any jacket by any manufacturer would probably have the same sleeve issue for tall people.
