Silicone ear molds made easy
The product is user-friendly, featuring effective noise reduction and splash resistance. It is convenient to insert and remove, demonstrating responsible design. While the quality is commendable, it falls short of professional standards. However, considering its affordability, it offers excellent value for the price. Overall, I rate it 4.5 out of 5.

Easy to make, unconvinced about performance yet (time will tell)
Unsure why there are reviews of this stuff setting too quickly, worked perfectly for me.Make sure you check out the Amazon reviewer here (I even bought a set pocket digital scales, glad I did 4g per ear is perfect, I can make four pairs per pack!!): I tried them with 5mins in the freezer and they took much longer to set. At room temp they were still fine, a bit more convenient because they set quicker (2-3 mins) All details in this review, follow to the letter... https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/customer-reviews/R2QJY5JI4ADI36/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00OBI0570)I am just unsure yet about the performance. When you first make them, they fit like a glove, but I could never get them back in my ear snugly as that first fitting.I will keep experiment, sat here making my third pair now. Will update this review.UPDATE: You have to go on the lean side, 4g per ear is the perfect amount and I'd even say slightly less, maybe as low as 3.5g (untested). I have just made my third pair using a very strict 4g, much better. The trick is to keep the mould low in your ear so that when refitting them it's easy to get the bit that goes down your ear canal inside. If you have too much mould around your ear it then becomes impossible to fit the part that goes in your canal down inside because the surround is obstructed from getting at the correct angle of entry. Heh ye, it's a science :)I use these for my motorbike helmet and as well as the above, the 4g size means they don't get budged by putting my helmet on and off.I haven't yet ridden my bike with them on, but this smaller set are close to the noise blocking of the foam earbuds. And the theory is they won't get dislodged like the foam. Expect a second update!

Excellent Value, Excellent Job
Excellent! Lots of reviews vary, but here's my 2 pence.I got 15g of each part and used 3g of each part per ear...so enough for 5 pairs for my ears.Very easy to use. Mixing takes seconds, mouth open, stuff the mixed ball into the ear and work it around. Make sure it's pushed up into all of the folds and it will stay in fine (behind the tragus). Hardest part is keeping your mouth open for 10 minutes, but stuff something in there and you're good to go!They fit well in my helmet and they block enough sound to be comfortable, but not so much that it's dangerous. Can't ask for anything more for what is effectively £2 per set of custom earplugs.

With come care and patience you can get some great ear plugs
It is not as easy as it seems to make these but after a bit of experimenting I managed to get some really great ear plugs for sleeping with. In case it helps anyone who is struggling, what worked for me to get the best results:Lower the temperature - it seems to set quicker at higher temperatures, at >23C it started to set in less than a minute for me, at 19C it was very malleable for 2-3 mins and started to set >6mins. Turn the thermostat down and put it in the fridge for a while before starting to give plenty of time to shape it. It helps to mix a small test sample to see how much time you will have.Wash you hands and ears well - Its in the instructions for a reason.Weigh out equal amounts of both parts - mixing the parts unequally can cause it to set very quick. (I think) I have relatively small ears, I used 2g of each component per ear (i.e 4g total per ear) which was enough to produce some good plugs. So get some scales and make it accurate.Ignore the mixing time - it was way to long for me. Just do it quick and look at it and mix it until it is streak free.Keep your mouth wide open - this may depend on individual anatomy but if i put my finger in my ear and open my mouth i can clearly feel it creates more space. So get something wide to bite on, it gets pretty uncomfortable though so be prepared and get a cloth to wipe up the drool!Keep your head straight - same as above if I put my finger in my ear and look down it constricts slightly so don't look down when they are setting! They shrink as the silicone cures - I found I got better plugs if i kept prodding bits that came loose and applying gentle pressure as it set. Put an ear plug in the other ear and have some background noise going so that you can hear when a gap has opened up in the one you are making and then press it until you get the seal again. You can press it harder than you think - They (rightfully) put a warning about not rolling it into a sausage and inserting it into the canal. That is clearly a bad idea, but you can press it in quite hard from the outside (at your own risk) and I personally got better plugs by doing so. I found the critical area to focus on getting a good seal was at the small gap at the bottom of the ear between the Tragus and Antitragus. again putting a plug in the other ear helps to figure out if the seal is broken. With the above tweaks to the directions I found it took slightly longer than 10mins to fully set and got some really good ear plugs that work great. If you get some that are not quite right you can just mix up a bit more to layer it on, (at-least it worked for me to fix the other not so great pairs I made first time round)Overall very happy, I now have ear plugs that work just as well as the foam ones and are much more comfortable and don't fall out so that the cats no longer wake me up in the middle of the night.Hope that helps some people.
