Initio is one of my favorites, i love the smell but am very frugal with my appliance, this fragrance “After effect “ saved my wallet from a huge hole, like i tell everyone if you haven’t smelled the original go test it first, this is bolder not as creamy but MAN its the absolute closest to it, the musk stands out more but very soothing to the nose as well. Its great folks!!

I'm guessing most people who are seeking this fragrance are looking for a good comparison to Side Effect by Initio. This was the exact reason I chose to give it a shot. In quick summary, if you have not had access to Side Effect in some time, or don't have an overtly strong sense of smell I think this is exactly what you are looking for. It is not a 100% match but very close. I compared both Side to Side on my wrists for an afternoon, initially using the new bottle (After Effect by Fragrence World.) Upon first spraying it, I could tell there was something missing in this formula, though I could not pinpoint all the differences until comparing them Side by side. The Initio blend has been my daily scent for the last two months, so it is fresh in my mind. Comparing and contrasting After Effect is significantly stronger than Side Effect. Both on initial spray and over an extended period of time. The 3-4 sprays it takes me with the Initio formula only take 1-2 with After Effect. While to an extent I like the subtle scent of Initios formula, given the steep price tag it has been one of the least satisfying aspects of that fragrence. I find After Effect to be a warmer scent. It is less complex, less boozy and spicy than Side Effect. While I have heard others review the Initio formulas "boozyness" as one of the lesser liked qualities- it is, unfortunately for me something I deeply enjoyed in the original fragrance. Mentioning the lacking complexity of Fragrence worlds formula, along with the warmness of it- Initios has a certain sharpness to the type of scent that it is. As it fades what stays is that sharp complexity. I like the subtleness of that. None of this is to say the fragrence world version is bad. Though I own two different sized bottles between the brands I find the quality of the packaging and bottles very similar in both appearance and application. I am very sensitive to slight changes in scent and taste and so I am hyper aware of the differences I described and more prone to being picky because of my fondness for my original fragrance. Because of the stark difference in price I am going to switch over to this version for the time being. Hopefully with time I'll grow to enjoy it in equal stride and save my Initio Parfum for special occasions.

I am in love with this scent. I think it is totally unisex. It lasts forever on clothes. It’s a beast scent. It smell almost identical Initio’s Side Effect.

This is a great cologne. Smells great. Lasts on my skin 6-7 hours. This was an alternate to an original that i wanted. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Eau De Parfum

Absolutely amazing dupe. Monster projection. I don't feel bad about using it liberally too due to the affordable price. Amazing.

Packaging is beautiful. Everything is good quality but for some reason my batch was extremely synthetic and hurt my lungs to smell. After just 2 sprays it’s very strong and lasts very long. It has some DNA from side effect but it’s definitely missing the main notes. Can’t put my finger on it. Just my overall opinion and this will vary from person to person. If you’re looking for a clone of side effect consider looking for something else. This one just didn’t do it for me.
