Draper Expert 78924 6-Piece Soft-Grip Precision Screwdriver Set

Quality AND comfort are important in tools like this, especially if you have large hands like me. Using those stupid little thin silver precision screwdrivers when you have hands like dinner plates is a pretty inventive form of torture. Just for the reduction in thumb cramps these soft grip screwdrivers are worth their weight in gold!I've been using them for some time now and I'm confident of the quality. No turned screw heads or damaged tips to report after some pretty extensive use. The spinning tops are great and being able to get a full grip of these beauties makes for a much better user experience and a much greater force can be applied safely thanks to the thicker handles. It's actually a lot like using a regular screwdriver in terms of comfort.The case they come in is good too, as long as you carefully remove the gaudy manufacturers stickers which look pretty rubbish. Once removed the nondescript blue box is pretty unoffensive, easy to spot, hard wearing and seats the drivers nice and snug so no falling about in the tool box.These are a great little set and well worth the asking price. Highly recommended!

Just received them today, and everything about them is top notch; the heads are top quality, the soft-grip handles very comfy and grippy, the rotating tops are well finished off, and the case they come in is also very well made.The only critisism I could give would be that I would have preferred more cross-slots and less flat-heads, but I knew that before I bought them.All in all, very nice, I expect them to last a very long time.

Unlike my personality, these screwdrivers aren't magnetic, which is a shame when you're working with very small screws, but they have a nice grip and seem strong. The retro case is also quite nice. Reminds me of something my dad would have had in his tool box in the 80's whilst he tried to fix the VCR, cursing like a sailor. Ah, nostalgia. Anyway, they're pretty good.

These are quality tools, comfortable to hold for use and specifically designed for those intricate repairs or maintenance of your precious gadgets. As they say, you get what you pay for !

Been using these very regularly for some years now and they are still in perfect condition. Generally I use them for opening computers/phones etc.The grips are really good and enable you to apply a lot of force without damaging the tips or the heads of the screws you are working on.These will give you much better results that cheap no-brand drivers and last you a lifetime.

I do not recommend these if you plan to use them more than once. The tips deform very easily to the point that they're useless after a few screws. I was actually able to trim the head using a small pair of wire clippers to get another couple of goes out of them

Convenient solid box. Good grip handles. Quality seems OK.Six screwdirvers do not give a great selection of sizes.I am not sure why they are so expensive compared to the cheaper all steal precision screwdriver sets. I needed these ones for better grip and less likely hood of damaging the screw heads on an expensive Canon lens.I am assuming, though have no proof the steel is better quality.
