Poor threading and inconsistent sizes
I bought this pack of M6 x 45mm cam dowel screws to assemble a wardrobe, but the quality is disappointing. The threading on several screws is rough and uneven, making them difficult to tighten properly. A few didn’t screw in straight at all, which caused the panels to misalign. The sizing also seems inconsistent — some are slightly shorter than stated, and others have heads that don’t sit flush with standard cam fittings. I’ve used plenty of these types of fixings before, and these feel cheaply made compared to proper branded ones. They might do in a pinch for small jobs, but for furniture assembly or professional use, they’re just not reliable. I wouldn’t buy them again.
