NKJV, End-of-Verse Reference Bible, Personal Size Large Print, Premium Goatskin Leather, Brown, Premier Collection, Red Letter, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, New King James Version [Thomas Nelson] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. NKJV, End-of-Verse Reference Bible, Personal Size Large Print, Premium Goatskin Leather, Brown, Premier Collection, Red Letter, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, New King James Version Review: Premium at a value - Aside from the ling wait you will have receiving this Bible it's a fantastic value. It retails for 205 on average and I believe this was 100. Regarding the Bible itself it excels in every way. The leather is good quality. I have seen a few share they didn't find it as pliable or soft as they had hoped. Leather becomes this way with use unless it is made that way from the start. Simply use the Bible every day and over time the leather becomes supple. The text is easy to read and even without my glasses I can see it. The end of verse reference is convenient and helps me to spend less time searching the bottom of the page for links between scripture. Thomas Nelson hit a grand slam with this top tier Bible. Review: Amazing value - Ok, I have a Schuyler personal size Quentel Niv, a kjv Cambridge cameo centenary edition, this bible is by far my favorite readable text and great quality for less than half the price. Save yourself some money and get this bible. Also Schuyler and Cambridge has 28gsm paper which is just too thin! Trust me! Outstanding daily reader
I bought an end-of-verse reference Bible several years ago (the compact size, with some type of imitation leather cover) and fell in love with it. It became my daily reader, and I bought a couple more at a Christian book shop as gifts for my wife and a friend. My eyesight took a random nosedive a couple years later (astigmatism, age 29 at the time), and overnight the print became somewhat uncomfortable to read. I discovered that the large print, personal size, end-of-verse reference Bible was paginated the same way as the compact, so I bought one (also imitation leather). It was really nice having everything in the same place, on the same page numbers as the compact, which had become like a familiar friend. I found that the imitation leather covers were showing significant signs of age after about a year of use, so I upgraded this past year to this goatskin leather version for longevity’s sake. The cover is soft and beautiful. The paper quality is definitely a marked step up from the other versions of this Bible I have owned. There was nothing wrong with those, but the paper on the leather version looks cleaner, and the print is sharper. There is less bleed-through, and the font is easy to read. The other versions I own have two ribbons; this one has three, and that seems to be the perfect number. I am able to mark the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament readings of the day from my devotional lectionary. If you attend a liturgical church, you can mark the OT, Epistle, and Gospel readings for Sunday worship. If the Lord wills it, I hope to wear this thing out over the next 10-20 years. The end-of-verse reference Bibles have been my companions for years now, and I truly love them. This is my favorite version by proxy, given the upgrade in paper and cover quality. I will probably get more of these in the coming years and leave them in the box until it’s time for me to retire the one I have.

The best Bible I've ever owned
I was looking for a Bible with larger font that's easy to read and I wanted it to be in a format that makes it easier to find the verses. I also didn't want a Bible so big that it couldn't be used as my every day carry Bible. This fits all the criteria perfectly. I measured it and it comes out to about 9" long, 6" wide and about 1 3/4" thick. I believe the description on Amazon for this Bible is incorrect for the dimensions. I was relieved to see that it is smaller and more portable. I love how easy it is to quickly find the verse I need. Each verse is broken up into its own paragraph and the verse numbers are large as well. I love the feel of this Bible. The leather (goat skin) is very soft and the Bible itself is supple, but not so floppy that I can actually hold it in one hand by the spine and it still lays in a way that I can still read both pages. It's built so well for practical functionality and versatility and is a very good looking Bible inside and out. Before I found this Bible I was looking at others in the price range of about $150 to $250. This is as good, if not better than any of those. So glad I found it before I purchased one of the others that have been in my wish list for a long time as this one is fairly new as it has only been on the market for a short while now. I could not recommend this Bible enough. I believe that it will be the last one I will ever have to buy for myself.

Bougie Bible, Soft and durable Leather
I love this bible. The leather is soft and supple amd feels very high quality (and smells amazing!) The words are not dramatically large, but still good size for older eyes. I like the 3 tassels and the solid box it came in was just bougie. My cat did try to swat at the tassels and ended up putting claw marks in the bible, so it's not super durable, but will last a long time if cared for.

Extremely Happy!
Quality 100% This is absolutely beautiful. Really made well. Good size font for the size of the bible. I still need reading glasses, but this helps very much. Can't wait to start reading it today. Fast delivery, received it 10-28-25. Great price! Worth it with the discount! Like the NKJV, End-of-Verse Reference Bible, with Personal Size Large Print, & the quality Goatskin Leather Cover, should last a lifetime!

When I was searching for a new Bible, I had a long list of requirements. It had to be gift-quality, beautiful, in genuine leather, with gilded gold page edges, satin ribbon markers and premium Bible paper. In addition to that, I wanted something in a more convenient size - not something to lay out on a big pulpit or desk - something to hold in my hands, curl up and just read. I wanted the New King James Version, and lastly I wanted a nice readable font with the words of Christ in red letters. I had looked at a thin line Deluxe version for a little less money, but it didn't have the elegant quality I was after, and though the Thompson Chain Reference editions are lovely and excellent resources, I found them all a little too big. This Bible is what I was looking for. It's GORGEOUS. The premium goatskin leather is soft, supple and very comfortable to hold. The cover isn't rigid, but the binding is excellent so it should hold up to a lifetime of normal use. Beautiful European Bible Paper is smooth and crisp, with art-gilded edges - red dye under gold. The tree satin ribbon markers mean you won't lose your place even while moving from book to book, testament to testament. There's everything you need here - extensive end-of-verse cross references and an index at the back - but not that huge list of resources and study helps needed for developing sermons, etc. as you would have with the Thompson Chain editions. The thing I like most about this one is the combination of personal size, with large comfort print. It's very easy to read and not strain my eyes. Even the beauty of the packaging is next level. Basically, having a copy of the Holy Bible as nice as this on my coffee table inspires me to pick it up, read it and even bring it with me! If I had one criticism, it would only be that the cover is quite soft, and a slightly stiffer backing would make it more durable. However, it is guaranteed for life! Expensive to be sure, but priceless in a way. I love mine.

The brown goatskin leather is not as durable as other premium goatskin leather. The paper is thick and opaque and the print is a joy to read.

This Bible is beautifully produced. However, the print size is slightly smaller that the Personal Size Giant Print Edition, which is a small problem if you need very large print. The big flaw with this Bible is that the editors have added in big capital letters their own titles to the many sections. Although some readers will think that is helpful, in fact, on close inspection some of the titles are misleading and some simply wrong. Since they are in large capital letters, they are impossible to overlook and represent an intrusion into the text. For example, some of the Psalms are given these headings quite superficially and obscure the real heart of the Psalter. And the sermon on the mount has some titles that are just erroneous. In the end, I returned this because I could not endure this feature in particular. What a shame!
