Excellent quality film. Nostalgia and happy memories watching this film again family loved it

Disney Robin hood I like it I enjoyed watching this animated film thank you.Its a good film all round.

Classic Disney animation, brilliant songs and plenty of action.

Good fun film

I've watched this movie so many times, I can no longer count, and every time I watch it, I enjoy it so much more! I really think this is one of the most underrated Disney movies out there. This version of Robin Hood has animals in the roles of the characters, and it works brilliantly. It would be natural for Robin Hood to be a fox if he was an animal, for both the fox and Robin are very clever. And if Robin Hood is a fox, naturally, Maid Marian would be a very pretty looking vixen. Also, having Prince John and King Richard as lions are natural choices, since the lion is the King of the Jungle. What I loved most about the film is the humor, most of it provided by Prince John, Sir Hiss (a snake), Trigger, and Nutsy (both vultures). Prince John's habit of sucking his thumb whenever anyone mentions his mother is rather silly but priceless! And he's so vain it's little trouble for Robin Hood and Little John (a bear) to rob him when they're disguised as fortune-tellers! Sir Hiss is smarter than any of the other bad guys, but the humor with him is that Prince John never believes him until it's too late, and abuses him afterwards. Trigger's "old Betsy" (a crossbow) provides plenty of action when it goes off! And Nutsy’s smartness can be seen when he says "One o'clock and all's well!" when it's three o'clock & when his told to set his brain ahead a couple hours, he doesn't know if he has to add or subtract two hours! I absolutely hate the Sheriff (a wolf). For me his the most hated Disney villain around that I get soooooo pleased every time I see him get his comeuppance at the end of the movie. Many other animals such as rabbits, a badger (Friar tuck), mice, a tortoise and a dog make up various other characters in the movie. There are minor flaws throughout various scenes in the movie but they don’t take away anything from the sheer enjoyment of watching this classic! Very Highly recommended movie. I’m glad I purchased this movie and look forward to watching it with my daughter again and again.

This has to be Disney's greatest film. All the ingredients come together perfectly to make a whole that is definitely greater than the sum of the parts. All of Disney's stock characters are here - the evil villain with a comedy sidekick, the numb skull henchmen, the heroic hero, the romance, the action, etc, etc. Several things make this film stand out for me- firstly the vocal talent being used - Terry Thomas as Sir Hiss and Peter Ustinov as King John are inspired choices. Roger Miller as the narrator, Phil Harris as Little John - every role is filled by a talented actor and brought to life. Then there is the songs, again Roger Miller was an inspired choice, and his songwriting skills are used here to good effect. There isn't the usual moralising and overdone schmaltz hat Disney usually churns out, apart from the romantic interlude in the forest this is fairly non-stop action, tempered with quite disturbing pictures of how grim life was for the people Robin was trying to help. This release is pretty good, with a decent widescreen picture and a good 5.1 surround sound. There are some decent extras, with some fun games, and an alternative ending proposed during the film's making, which has a slightly darker tone and turns King John into even more of a villain and places Robin and Marian in real peril. Very interesting. A great film for all the family, highly recommended.

Such a great kids classic. I prefer to show my kids older cartoons as it’s better for their brain development vs new age with too much color and fast motion. Older cartoons are less agitating and less behaviors to deal with after screen time.

Un Disney à regarder et à revoir,une très belle narration (en anglais c'est mieux!!), des personnages attachants et une belle musique. Un dessin animé qui replonge dans l'enfance les plus âgés et ravit les plus jeunes.

Non ho fatto il conto degli anni che ha questo cartone animato, ma è semplicemente meraviglioso..conosco le battute a memoria, eppure lo rivedo sempre come la prima volta...bellissimo
