Will it vacuum Alage?

No.
There is no vacuum product on the market that will or can vacuum up algae in any sense of the phrasing. Even the tightest mesh vacuums, bags, screens, etc. do one thing, suck stuff up. Algae can move through even the tightest mesh because it grows /around/ every individual strand and ends up on the other side. 
Will it gather algae? Yes.
Will it gather dead algae? Yes.
Can you clean the algae out? Yes.
But algae is always getting through. Even one surviving spore will feast on the phosphates and nitrates present in your pool water and proliferate.

If you're searching for a vacuum treatment for your pool's algae problem, you can search and buy every product on the market (which will total tens of thousands of dollars) and none of it will work. The algae must be killed and removed with BOTH extremely fine mesh bags/screens and your filtration system. The filtration system and any mesh must then be THOUROUGHLY cleaned and sanitized (with chlorine) to prevent algae growth.

As an added note, I service literally thousands of pools in a year, and I have not seen a single cordless vacuum perform with any sort of viability. Be honest with yourself, it will sit underwater likely for days before you think to pull it back out. That debris that gets pulled up in it WILL break down into phosphates and algae before you get it out. Those materials will spread even if you can't see them. The benefit of a corded system is that it can be set on a schedule and run daily. This won't solve the phosphates issue if you aren't cleaning it out quickly, but it will help with algae growth because the single most important thing to prevent algae growth ASIDE FROM CHLORINE is water movement. When vacuums kick back on, they expel algae into the chlorinated water where it quickly dies and is not visible.

Question 2

Can you use in different pools, or would it need to remap each time? If so how long does remapping take and is it still cleaning while mapping??

It states above ground pools or flat inground pools, but I use it in an inground pool that dips down a few feet. It should map according to the settings you set.

Question 3

I have an above ground vinyl liner pool.. Does anyone think I’ll have any issues with this vac..?

I have 18' above ground pool that is not totally level I purchased this Seagull model bacon July 2021.  I still love mine . Works awesome.  Don't know about newer model can only think it's better
The issue I've come across was the way the wheels stay in place, I figure since my pool not totally level would be why. But I've been able fix with zip-tie.  So not Reagan issue any more

How well does this pick up fine dirt particles or does it just push them around?

Overall, it does pick up fine particles, at times pine needles and larger items are left. QTOMOP is a better vacuum, but harder to lift out of pool.
