Dennerle Shrimp King 5 in 1 - Shrimp Food Starter Set, for Ornamental Shrimps

My shrimp love this food!!.. buying it like this helps give them different options for feedings. They eat it up like crazy will buy again when needed. I only wish it came in bigger quantity even though the price would be more I wouldn't mind buying it.

TL;DR: This is by far some of the best food around, will buy the individual types separately since my shrimps love it so much with the exception of the 5 leaf mix (mislabeled in the description as Pea & Leaf Loops 6g). I was previously feeding my healthy colony of shrimps algae pellets, boiled veggies and almond leaves. Heard a lot about shrimp king so decided to buy this variety pack and my shrimps absolutely love it with one exception. Pros: -Easy to determine portions. Convenient little sticks that are easy to break. -Shrimps devour it faster than any other food I've tried on them -Sinks instantly -Creates a "food carpet" as the description calls it. Results in the shrimps not fighting over a single big clumps but can be messy. The shrimps will eat every bit of it though and you wont even know it was there the next day. Cons: -Seems to have some small twigs or pieces of wood or something. The shrimps devour the food but days later these small wood-looking pieces still remain. Easy enough to clean up with a vacuum once a week. -My shrimps dont care much for the 5 leaf mix . The cherry shrimps will peck at it a bit, the Amanos have 0 interest in it. It eventually gets eaten but they just dont seem to love it like they do all the other stuff in the pack. Im gonna keep trying but if they dont eat it, I'm just gonna replace it with boiled veggies.

This is nice to try all the foods. My shrimp go nuts for snow pop but they eat any except the leaf food. If you only have a small shrimp tank it's a generous supply of food.

I believe it is good quality feed and I only have a few shrimp so it works for me!

Packets are small. Save yourself some time. Shrimp love the snow pops followed by mineral, protein and complete. I mix it up for them. I feed them in a wee glass dish so I can monitor how much/if they eat it. No one likes the leaf mix, not shrimp, Otos or Cory’s.

Amazing variety and it’s been lasting forever! I can tell my shrimp are happier too. They all come out to munch on whatever flavor I choose that day.

I have heard great things about shrimp king shrimp food and wanted to test it. But couldnt find much about this sample packet size. Ehat it looked like or anything. I wanted to try before I buy the full size, so here I am. Ill do a YT video update and update here with my results. Thats going to take some time and efdort to get a good test on this. 1 day each new food and the results of my shrimps verocity at it. But for now. Here you can see the size you get. Its very lack luster. Each packet was emptied into a 1 oz serving container so I could keep them fresh for my video review later. I shot this on a sheet of paper and dropped a quarter on it for scale reference. You get about 30-35 little sticks per pack. About half a dry oz cup. This shows you the color and content. Which has eluded everyone on this product! So now you know GI Joe. And knowing is half the battle.

This works great. When I want to count my neocaridina shrimp, I drop one in and wait 20 mins. They all gather around it and then I snap a pic so I can get a head count more or less.

You get a good amount of food for money paid. Although the bags can’t be resealed fully. My shrimps don’t seem to eat anything apart from the colour feed, but they may just be fussy
