Dorwest Milk Thistle Tablets for Dogs and Cats - 200 Tablets

Can’t go wrong with Dorwest for my dog.

Vet recommended - and my Vet is trustworthy - my elderly dog had had no ill-effects - I’m not quailed to give advice otherwise.

Use this product for my elderly dog, I’m happy with the results so far. Not happy with the Amazon packaging! Very large box for a very small bottle!

This was suggested to us by the vets and was also suggested to buy from Amazon as they’re cheaper than the vets sell. Touch wood, they’ve been doing their job and keeping our boy well and healthy. He also loves them which is a plus and doesn’t realise they’re tablets with the taste I assume as other tablets we struggle to get him to take them. All in all, great product!!

I previously used the milk thistle powder on my pets food without success, decided to try the tablets instead . I found these easy to administer as they are not too big . I wrap them in ham to disguise and my pet takes these easily .

Our much loved 11 and a half year old golden retriever was diagnosed 10 months ago with liver cancer. She became unwell very quickly and after an ultrasound at the vet we were told that she had liver cancer and our 2 options were to operate or let the cancer take its course. It was explained to us that an operation would be very invasive and would take around 2-3 months to recover from (if she came back round after the anaesthetic). After much thought and tears we decided that it wouldn't be fair to put her through so much pain with no guarantee of success. After lots of internet research, we came across a few websites which had reviews for Essiac Tea and its benefits in relation to cancer. Other websites had positive reviews about Milk Thistle tablets as support for the liver. With nothing to lose, we bought the Essiac tea and Milk Thistle tablets (both from Amazon) and followed the instructions carefully regarding the dose to give in relation to the weight of the patient. I don't know which of the 2 (or a combination of both) has resulted in saving her life but we are so pleased that we tried them. Our 'old girl' is still with us (now nearly 12 and a half years old) - fingers crossed. Do your research and read the reviews, but I'm convinced of the effectiveness of both treatments.

My dog has Cushing's so needs liver support. He has done well on these tablets.
