Replacement Spare Tension Belt Part for Elliptical Cross Trainer Exercise Bike

I replaced broken strap on my ProFitness trainer, bit fiddly to install but better than buying a new machine. This strap works fine but I'm trying not to use on high resistance to be sure I get prolonged use out of it.

Brilliant, had a cross trainer that had been out of action for 4 years following the belt breaking. Took a gamble in purchasing this belt. this belt has done the trick and works 100% efficiently. Would totally recommend, now we have a daily fight as to who is going to use the cross trainer first.

Purchased this in early July and replaced it immediately. Set up the tension over two 30 minute sessions and used the cross trainer twice per week maximum since. Adjusted lost tension tighter in early September. Lost all tension on 17th October and unable to increase tension at all because the black adjusting strap had broken (see photo). I'm male and in my 70's and reasonably fit, so I doubt whether any misuse is the cause of this failure. This has as much use as a chocolate fireguard!!!

This is the second tension belt that I've had to buy for the trainer, which, to be honest, I don't use a lot. The belts seem to wear out quickly. There is not a lot to the belt; some sort of felt with sewn on plastic backing coupled to a small metal spring. The price of the this item, to me, seems excessive.

Was on the verge of throwing my cross trainer away when found this to fix it! Easy to fit.

Disappointing! Have had to replace belt three times since February. Average use 3 to 4 hours per week. Original belt lasted 4 months but replacements wear out much quicker! Followed online instructions to the letter so no mis-setting. Now spent £60 on these. XS did replace first one FOC. Tricky to fit (although I'm getting good at it through bitter experience) but good machine when operational!
