We tried this in our ice cream base and our sorbet base (non milk based). No matter what we did to try and sweeten the base, there is always a bitter aftertaste. The initial flavor is OK - but does not taste right afterwards - with lemon there should be a sour aftertaste, not a bitter aftertaste.Not good for cold desserts.

I use this to make frozen deserts. Ice cream, Gelato etc.I finally opened the can, wow, very lemony. I took a tiny taste off the removable lide before I tossed it. DONT DO THAT lol, it's highly concentrated, 😂 I had lemon breath all night after doing that.I highly recommend. I'm dying now to try the blueberry I bought as well.

I could not find Hero lemon compound, and so I spent quite a lot on this product. It is too sweet and leaves a bitter aftertaste. I am a professional baker. My clients complained that my products tasted worse this time. I had to refund their money, apologize, explain, and even so, I suspect I lost their custom.

Has an AMAZING almost Mayer Lemon flavor. I have used it in cupcakes as a filling and mixes it with the berry delipaste. Phenominal!!!
