Cuts even think cardboard like warm butter. Much better than other types I’ve tried. It is quite loud though.

I ordered this and when I got it, I tried the Battery right out of the box, but it would not work. I placed the battery on the charger, and did not get a charge light, so I left t on the charger for about an hour, but no go. I wrote up a return to Amazon due to it Not Working. I then turned around and ordered a little bit different one, and got it and it works just Great.

Sharp, cuts great, little on noisy side , easy to use, came with a utility knife like cutter, and Extra blade

So I got these to cut down boxes and cardboard, they work just fine I like I can cut straight lines if needed. I’m going to try to use it on other material. The only complaint I have is they are kind of noisy. But otherwise happy with my purchase.

Cons: 1. these scissors are VERY noisy! I've had to use protective ear plugs while using them. 2. Even though I've recharged the battery several times now, they only last about half an hour of continuous cutting (of fabric, nothing heavy). 3. I've noticed that the notch at the back of the lower blade catches fabric, unless I keep the scissors at a certain angle while in use. This is getting very annoying. Pros: 1. The scissors cut through fabric like butter and very fast too. 2. Easy to hold in my small hand. 3. Easy to remove the battery and place in the recharger. 4. Recharges in about an hour. UPDATE: Scissors never have held a charge for more than 20 - 30 mins of continuous use (IF that's even what's causing it to stop working.. I'm not sure). Decided to return item.

These are nice scissors. Heavy duty, sharp, and handy. Problem is with customer support. The battery charger was DOA. I wrote to company and got no response at all. Revision: I am pleased to say that after some delay customer support and this company really came through. They offered a full refund or replacement. Actually, they sent me a brand new unit at no cost. I am extremely impressed. Now I have a wonderful working product. Thank you customer support. I now have no reservation to highly recommend this seller. Upgraded rating to 5 stars. I hope people that read my original review will see this.

I personally have been using these to cut down cardboard boxes into smaller pieces before I toss them into the recycling bin. Cardboard boxes are pretty much used for packaging in almost every single item, and those items are usually shipped in cardboard boxes when you buy them from online retailers and e-commerce sites like Amazon. It's very easy to accumulate a disturbingly large mountain of cardboard boxes, but our recycling bins fill up incredibly quick if you just fold them down flat. I had to consult the instructions manual to make sure I was using it right, and I pretty much got the hang of it once I learned how to use it properly. Scissors will always be faster for smaller things, but for big things that a box cutter or regular scissors are too small to take on, this electric scissor becomes very handy. I do like how it comes with an extra scissor tip and pretty much everything you need to get started. I'd suggest looking up tutorial videos online to get a better sense of what and where to use this on in case you're planning to use this frequently or for a business.

This is regarding the TOOLSPACE 4V Cordless Electric Scissors, Electric Fabric Cutter with 2 Pcs Cutting Blades Accessory for Cutting Fabric, Carpet, Leather, Cardboard. Both heavy and light blades work very well. It's easy to swap the two heads. It's loud like an electric engraver. The power button is a little odd, but it works. The battery lasts a fairly long time. It only takes a few hours to charge. I've primarily used it to cut leather without any problems. I like the way the tool does get in the way of the material. This is the second tool I've bought from this brand and I've been happy each time. This is an good purchase at this price point.

I got some decent use out of these by cutting up some second hand fabrics for re use, stuff like shirts, pants, sports bras etc. So I used it to cut around elastics to re use, it doesn’t curve smoothly but pulling fabric taut helped cut corners more smoothly. It’s very sharp, the charging stuff is well thought out, sits nicely on counter and all the packaged pieces were good quality it seems. My major annoyance with this is the button. It’s a sliding button, personally I want to hold it while cutting so I don’t over cut. But it slips forward and locks into auto on very easily. I have to stop, pull it out of the fabric while it’s buzzing and push the button back, rinse and repeat though because it slips easily. I wish it had two separate buttons/switches for this. I’m also a little unclear on how to replace the scissor heads when they become dull, I don’t know if there’s universal heads or I have to buy from the company? Can I self sharpen them? That’s be nice if it was clearer. Otherwise great purchase and don’t know how I lived without it while sewing this long.

Nothing pleases me more than turning a mountain of recycling into a neat slim pile of panels that I can simply carry down to the recycling area. These electric scissors make short work of something that would take me at least an hour to complete by hand - usually using a box cutter. I try to make each panel about the same size and with the electric scissors I can actually cut 2 or 3 at the same time cutting the working time in half. I LIKE - Cordless scissors - Easy to use - Strong enough to cut through 3 layers of cardboard - Fairly easy to control NOT SO MUCH - These are a little loud. That is about all I have to complain about.
