The media could not be loaded. My husband gave me as a bday present and I couldn't be happier! Although it is plastic the quality is ok and keeps time accurately. It makes a bit of noise but nothing loud that you can't watch telly or talk to someone without being distracted. It is so so beautiful, I am very happy with it. Just make sure to follow the instructions and the clock will work perfectly.

As others here have mentioned, it's quite expensive for what you get as it appears to be very cheaply made. But it's a classic design and it does (so far, at least) keep good time.But my main bug-bear with it is that it's SO NOISY. I have it in my home office and the cheap, plastic rattling sound it constantly made was actually quite distracting, so much so that I was about to remove it. But I decided to have a look at what the actual issue was, and it appears that it's where the pegs at the top and bottom of the eyeballs sit into the body. With the aid of a long toothpick I managed to get some very light grease (I used Molykote 55) into where the eyeball pivots sit, and that made an incredible difference. It's sooooo quiet now.I've given it an overall 5 stars because I'm so happy wit it now, but if the grease hadn't cured the noise problem I think I'd struggle to have given it 3 stars.

As iconic as the clock is i am disappointed with the quality of this product. The profit they must make on this is insane. The idea is better than the reality. Cheaply made and poorly executed. Side note is that i had purchased this as a gift and as you can see from the pictures the seller really let me down. Please for future customers put the item in a box and not raw dog it through the mailing system.

Really nice clock. The tick is a bit loud compared to what else is in the house but apart from that, nothing negative at all.Has nostalgic value so it makes it even better

I purchased this for my wife's birthday. I don't know where she'd seen or heard of them tho but they are famous for remaining USA made.The clock has a very unusual ticking sound like a simmering pan of water.

If you look side on at him he looks like he’s rolling his eyes at you. 😂At first glance you could think, mmm plastic? Quite small? The media could not be loaded. It’s very cute and makes my room look even cooler. It sounds nice instead of sitting in silence. Works well and wasn’t as hard to put together as some reviews say. Altogether I love it I’m very happy :D( written by my daughter as it’s her’s )
