Excellent item although my electrician did need an additional part

It’s been amazing so far, I had it fitted which then had to be logged on the Tesla one app the I had to connect with the Tesla app, once done it has been seemless, it had a very long cable so can reach 2 cars on the same driveway. I would definitely buy again if I needed another one

Never let me down. I tried other brands and they die or were faulty after few months.

Just purchased one of these to replace a My Energie Zappi unit which became unreliable after the 3 year warranty expired. However there are pros and cons to these chargers: Pro's - 4 year warranty (domestic use only) - Nice looking unit - Works well with Tesla vehicles as it has the ability to be locked to only charge your car - handy feature if you think others might use the charger without your knowledge. - If you have a 3 phase supply this can charge at 22kw - Long 7.2m cable with handy button that opens the charge flap (Tesla only) Con's - For most UK installations you will need to install and additional PEN fault detection (disconnects the supply in the event of PEN/Earthing loss) in order to meet current regs - most others have this facility built in so there is additional cost - There are better options if you want to charge from solar - Others have built in load monitoring - if you have high load appliances in your house (electric shower, hob etc) other chargers will ramp down the charging current to avoid overloading your main fuse. So to summarise, at under £500 the unit appears good value and if your distribution board (fuse box) was not installed recently (last 2 years) it is most likely that your electrician will be installing a separate distribution board to run your charger anyway. Therefore the additional cost of buying one with the PEN fault detection built in is not that much more depending upon which board you buy and where you buy it from! There are GARO and WCED units available for about £100-150. Hope this helps and I will provide an update on reliability further down the line. UPDATE FEB 2026 charger continues to work really well with no issues. Have charged both Tesla and vehicles of other makes over the last couple of years with no problems. I would recommend this charger, my previous Zappi unit was already starting to play up at 2+ years old but this one appears to be all good so far. Yes, installation is not as straight forward as some other brands but I think its worth it as I like the reliability and the long cable that comes at no extra cost.

Works as intended

A must have if you're a tesla owner. item is well packed, well made and syncs up lovely to the car and the tesla app. initial layout is a little high, but this is hugely offset by the savings vs super charging.
