Beautiful deck
This is a beautiful tarot deck and it comes as displayed. In the pictures. The cards are a bit thin and font color is a bit jarring in my opinion, but the richness of color is fantastic.

Beautiful
Great art on these cards and a good replacement of your average waite deck. Cards are a little thin as they say, but could be a preference thing.

This is a perfect deck
Absolutely my favorite tarot deck in years. As the name implies, this is a VERY traditional take on the Rider Waite Smith deck but it has many fascinating and subtle surprises as well. The deck has all the hallmarks we have come to expect from Guiliano Costa so expect clouds, hidden faces, birds and bricks! It's all very Italian looking and stunningly vibrant and colorful. The back of the cards have a traditional rose and lily pattern that is gorgeous and very striking. The deck shuffles very well, fits comfortably in the hand and is a perfect traditional tarot size. I can't find fault with a single thing in this deck so BRAVO to Mr. Costa and to Lo Scarabeo for unleashing this magnificent deck on the world. I love it.

Love, Love, My #1 deck!!
I absolutely love this deck. The card stock is great, I am a riffle shuffler, it’s perfect. These cards don’t bend out of shape and they don’t chip around the edges. The cards are Beautiful, clear & colorful. This deck is my #1 deck I love working with. I wouldn’t change a thing…Also, having carpal tunnel in my hands and wrist with this card stock helps not putting so much pressure in order to shuffle, that includes the size of the deck.Thank you to the creators of this deck!!

Beautiful artwork, disappointing presentation & quality.
Lo Scarabeo is always disappointing in the quality they put out with their publishing. They have some great artists and then diminish what would otherwise be awesome products with inferior printing quality, flimsy flip-top boxes, and no guidebooks. At this price point, there's really no excuse.Pros about this deck: If you want a faithful RWS interpretation to learn the tarot but think the standard RWS decks are ugly as sin, this is a great option. No matter how many tarot books told me I had to start with a RWS deck I went with Ciro Marchetti's lovely Gilded Tarot instead because it's much prettier to look at and still pretty close to the traditional system. I only bought this deck because an artist's rendition of the straight RWS iconography that I could find visually pleasing enough to bother with finally arrived. The finish on the cards is silky to the touch and a bit slippery on the table. Tons of interesting details in the scenes that aren't in the original deck, giving a reader lots of additional stuff to work with while interpreting the cards.Cons about the deck: The print quality is poor. Even though the finish and color saturation is lovely, I've used these cards twice and already the pictures are peeling in places. I went to gently scratch some flecks of extra ink off several cards and it took the whole printing right off with it, leaving blank white spots in the middle of the picture. They also get scratched easily and I'm finding several lines dented in the middle of cards. Since nothing has touched them but my fingers, I assume it's my short little nails, but nails have never damaged any other tarot decks I own, and I have several. That's really disappointing. FINALLY, it is really, REALLY irritating to get a deck with so much artistic license and so many additional elements in each RWS scene and NOT receive a full guidebook with the artist's interpretation of these additional symbols. The little white book that comes with the deck just regurgitates the exact same basic tarot meanings you will find with any RWS deck and yet there are 5-10 extra things on each card that remain unexplained. And at this price, no guidebook is really not cool at all. With all the options out there, I will think twice before I purchase another deck published by Lo Scarabeo

Rich colors and details
After reading reviews for the Tarot of Traditions deck, I almost passed on buying it because the consensus seemed to be that the quality of the card stock was poor. But the artwork looked so inviting and beautiful that I took a chance. While the card stock is thinner than that of most of the decks in my collection of 30+ decks, it's all relative and very subjective. The cards are a smidge smaller than the standard tarot size and have a smooth glossy finish. That makes them easy to shuffle overhand - they slide over each other without being too slippery. They do flex a little when you only have a couple cards in your hand, but unless you shuffle really roughly, they should hold up well. The box is also a lightweight cardboard tuck box, and the "little white book" is basic (but includes different languages). As for the artwork, it is striking! The images are easily identifiable as Rider Waite Smith but are more detailed and have a depth to them that makes you feel like you could step into the scene. The colors are rich and saturated. Most of the images feature thick puffy clouds in the background, some with hidden faces. I wonder if they're supposed to mean something...I guess that's up to the reader. The wand cards are funny - they all feature very prominent leaves! This deck could have been exceptional - thicker card stock, a heavier box, and a more detailed booklet with specific information about the artist and these particular cards. It's a deck I'll enjoy owning but will treat carefully so as not to damage the "delicate" cards.

Gorgeous deck
I grabbed this deck when I saw one of my favorite tarot teachers using it on her yt channel, and it did not disappoint. The colors are so rich and vibrant, and the artwork is gorgeous. Even the backs are beautiful! The quality of the cardstock and printing is also great. I just wish it came in a sturdier box rather than a standard "playing card" type box. Regardless, I've had some lovely readings with it, and it's definitely one of my favorites.

Gorgeous Deck.
This deck has stunning bold colors and is gorgeous to look at. The symbols and art style of the cards are traditional and easy to read. I suggest this for any level of understanding and using Tarot. Highly recommend.
