My god as soon as you operate them you can feel the quality over the cheaper versions. I'm glad i bought this pair as my original cheap set are absolute rubbish, buy cheap, but twice is the saying, so yeah i do recommend these

I bought these Irwin strippers mostly based on other reviews but also because they looked slightly better from the photos. I based this mostly on how clear the stamped writing looked since cheap tools often are badly stamped. I am not a professional now but I was for many years so I have a pretty good idea when tools are good quality and these are pretty good. There seem to be a load of wire strippers all looking identical so it's hard to tell if it's worth paying the extra for 'Brand' name items like these but I think I did the right thing buying them as the strippers I received seem to be high quality and so far are working well. I don't think they would be suitable for heavy gauge solid core mains wire but hopefully nobody would be daft enough to buy them for that kind of use. They are probably not meant to be used for removing the outer insulation of 3 core flex either but I tried it and it worked so.... In summery as a wise man said buy cheap and buy twice. These are not crazy expensive but not the cheapest so hopefully will give years of service.

So easy to use

I spent most of my life stripping wire with a knife whenever I needed to, cutting my fingers, removing half the copper wire, snapping the wire, whatever. This was a luxury purchase for me, I'm not rich and I rarely strip any wire but I don't regret buying them as they work so well. You can set the length to strip and then it is just close them, they spring back open and it is done. If you need them then this is a good make, I did my research. Hope it helps.

When they work, they work well. I've had too many instances where it just won't strip. The wire is clean, the tension is maxed out, and I still run into issues. I can't rely on them so I'm always turning to my Knipex auto-strippers.

so wish id have bought it sooner makes life so much easier than a wire stripper you have to adjust with a screw, this one just works. ON all sizes.

.. that is not "perfect" is the size of this product (not that anyone else can make it smaller and just as outstanding). Everything else is just so perfect and great, well in the start you will get yourself hurt cause you aren't placing you hand correctly but when you get the hang of this thing, woouw, great result each time.

I purchased this product after watching it's video on You Tube . I loved it esp as a DIY user . Now you need not struggle with wire stripping process and cutting is very clean and effortless. You can strip multiple wire easily. It's costly as it is imported from USA and not made in China

La herramienta se siente de calidad y hace muy bien su trabajo, probada con cables calibre 16 y 22 sin problemas al momento de pelarlos, separa el aislante limpiamente sin dañar los hilos de cobre, ademas de contar con un cortador de cable que de igual manera funciona muy bien, cuenta con la opción para instalar terminales. Ahorra mucho tiempo al momento de estar haciendo una instalación eléctrica, sobre todo en los vehículos donde en la mayoría de las ocasiones el espacio no es suficiente para usar un pelador convencional, ya que es necesario jalar el aislante, con esta herramienta se facilita todo y tiene la gran ventaja de poder hacer derivaciones de cable ( conexiones en T ) ya que permite pelar los cables en cualquier sección.

I was thinking for years now to buy a wire stripper, now i had to do a job with 100th pieces of wires , did the job perfectly
