I ought this for my daughter for Christmas, as she was starting a leather course in January. When she came to needing the product, it turned out to be made incorrectly and the blade does not stay fixed tight in the slot - therefore unusable I can’t return the item as it’s outside the return window, so hoping that the seller sees this review and gets in contact to offer help

So far I’m very happy with this tool. Once set, it doesn’t slip its setting. Cuts great straight from the box. Well made at an acceptable price.

Good tool works well

This strap cutter is actually better than I expected. I've been doing leatherwork for quite a few years, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the build and the ease of use. The length of the tool helps to consistently guide the leather to prevent shifting of the strap as it's being cut, left or right, producing a clean straight result.
