Easier to use in really well frozen ice cream.
Scoops just broke or were to hard to use. This has been just what I have wanted for years. The plungeaction doesn’t hurt my wrist to use and the portions are much easier to use to build ice cream cones. Consistently dependable and worth the cost. Made sturdy of high grade stainless steel. Get one, you will be so glad you did!

A great piece of nostalgia that works amazing
When I was young, we would go to the thrifty’s and get ice cream in this cylinder shaped scoop and it was wonderful and of course the ice cream flavors were amazing. Now we have that piece of nostalgia at home and even though we have a Cutco ice cream scoop it basically sits in the drawer and collects dust.

The only ice cream scoop you’ll need.
This is just like the scoop used in Thrifty drug stores of SoCal fame. Stainless material cleans instantly under hot water. No disappointments!

Handles bump the side of the container.
If you let the ice cream soften a little, it works pretty good, but the handle bumps into the sides of the container. It’s also a little tricky to wash. Still it’s satisfies that nostalgia for when I was a kid.

Terrible Scoop
Maybe I am not using it correctly, but I might as well use a spoon rather than have bought this useless gadget reminiscent of my childhood. I used to get ice cream at Woolworth’s that was cylinder shaped when you got it on a cone. This scoop was hard to use and you had to pack the ice cream in the with a spoon and help it out. Don’t waste your money!

No me funcionó para nada. Intente en helado congelado y en más suave y la bola no sale. Quizá lo estoy usando mal. Lo meto a la nieve y trato de girarlo para sacar la bola pero no sale.
