Another great toy for my spoilt Staff.
Some dogs are just born chewers! It is a fact, if your dog gets bored and has nothing to focus the boredom on then your furniture is in for a mauling and you are in for a shock :-) Kong toys are all I ever buy for my Staff as she is an avid chewer and they have stood the test of time, and dog, for the last 8 years. Obviously I am not saying the toys are lasting that long but they do last a good couple of years if you select the right size for your dog. This toy does seem to be one of her favourites and it is built to last, I do wish they would make the tougher black version of this toy but the red does seem to hold up well. I cannot emphasise enough how good Kong toys are, I even get them for my cats as well now!

Kong tug toy not strong enough to sustain much tugging. This is our 2nd one in a short space of time. Left feeling let down
Got as a replacement for same one, that was got a few months ago. Our dog loves it. But, the rubber does not stand prolonged catching. Because already, their is a tiny piece of of it. I long praised the Kong brand. Because our last dog, who we lost at 16yrs, loved to play with the balls. These did last, and are still doing so. Yet somewhere, these toys, don't stand the test of time. The fact this is occurred through tugging. I do have to question, why do they not last for the reason, they are used for? I do keep checking this brand from time to time. Looking for a toy, that will last like the ones of old. However, I no longer buy, because it is a Kong. We would give anything, to find that toy, that our dog of just over a year, can't bite into, or through. He is no way a destructive breed. He just loves to play. I hate to have to take a toy of him through safety reasons. But, I would much rather be careful, than have to take him urgently to the vets. The toy itself, is good, and I know that some dogs will play with it, and perhaps cause no damage. Sadly for us, the search goes on. A & P W

Pull A Long
My puppy really enjoys having a tug with this toy. If he is happy then we are happy

Plenty of spring
We have a young Labrador who likes chewing and tugging. He had cut through his previous tug. This one definitely felt more rubbery and was easier to grip and he liked it. Not scored for durability as it is too soon but it is looking okay after a few days of pulling. Not the cheapest of tugs but might be worth it.

Less than 20mins to chew through
Golden retriever was able to chew straight through this, total waste of money as not durable. I bought it thinking Kong was a strong product

Splits
A good tug toy for my Lab/Retriever so I bought a second only to find now that the first one has splits as though it has been cut with a knife. On the whole it is still a good toy as my dog loves playing with it. Beware! UPDATE. The second tug only lasted a day before it was dismantled. Now on a third!!

Dogs are loving it
I have two staffys and general toys don’t last 10 mins. This kong toy has lasted well with 2 staffys and a JRT dragging each other around the garden

Great but could be a little better
it is a great product, highly durable and worth the money, it is just personal opinion that i felt like it needed to be a little thicker and maybe wider grip for those of us with big hands. the stretch felt like it could be a bit stiffer as between me and my 50kg rottie it gets to the point where it feels a little like it could snap, but dosnt.. could be attributed to my previous gripe about thickness.

OUR FAVORITE TOY-lasts so long
This is our golden retriever's toy! We have owned our first version of this toy for about 2 years. She plays serious tug with it every day and chews on it often. It has lasted so long. We have a second more recent dog who destroys all toys. He chews on this constantly but does not destroy it. It has finally started to come apart a bit. It is great for tug with us or if they want to play tug with each other. They love the texture for chewing. We will always be restocking this toy in our house.

Super tough
My malamute loves this toy. Super durable and she plays everyday with it. She will play tug with us or just play on her own with it. Highly recommend for power chewers. Great tug toy and keeps her entertained

Resistente
