AIRHEAD® Double Action Pump. Perfect For Topping off Towables This double action pump inflates and deflates tubes, airbeds, boats, toys and other inflatables. It delivers a continuous stream of air on both the up and down strokes. Simply turn the release valve counter-clockwise and you're pumping air only on the down-stroke. This is a great option when your inflatable is almost full and there's back pressure. Four universal valve fittings are included. The accordion-style hose stretches to 5 ft. long and interlocks to the pump, so that it doesn't fall off while you're pumping. Capacity is approximately 68 gallons / 60 strokes. Especially great for topping off towables, since peak pressure is 14 psi.

Inflates (and deletes) faster than any other pump we've tried
We use this pump for all the inflatables in our boat and around our pool. It is excellent. It inflates faster than any pump we've tried, both manual and powered pumps. It is especially impressive inflating our 70" boat tube (another great product made by Airhead). Granted, it takes a bit of energy to pump up that beast using the dual action pump option, but compared to anything else weve tried this pump takes half the time (and you get a good upper body workout in the process). It comes with a number of easily attachable valve stems to accommodate any of our inflatables regardless of valve type and size. And the valve stems are all attacked to the pump hose by a string so they do not become misplaced. We also use the deflate feature of this pump to get all the air out of our inflatables so they can all be squeezed into the relatively small hull storage compartment of our ski boat--the deflate function also works great. The product construction is very good quality--this pump has been tested over two summers of heavy recreational use without any problems.

Works like a champ
This thing just works like a champ. It IS a little big - you wouldn't want it in your backpack, I don't think, but for camping where you take a vehicle, or for at home if you just want something that will work without electricity, this works just great. The attachments had one that fits, and stays in til you take it out, my old Coleman single air mattress. Fills it very quickly using the pump on both strokes setting. Even fills fairly fast on the single stroke setting since the air chamber is fairly large, but the 2-stroke is much faster and not that much harder to do. Got it for a few bucks less marked "Used" from Amazon's Warehouse Deals as the box it came in was mangled. What do I care about the box? Such a deal...Update 7-3-16: Still loving this pump. Had to get a new air matress, got an extra tall one this time, twin size. It took 200 strokes on the double pump setting. That may sound like a lot, and I guess it kind of is, but I like that the inflation can be accomplished without electricity and I just wanted to see how long/how many strokes it took. Though I hate the sound the electric pumps make, next time I probably would use one for the initial fill, and finish it off with this hand pump as this one will definitely get you up to a much firmer fill. The electric ones, mine at least, will start to complain at the resistance as the item gets almost full, leaving you with a mushy matress. A few pumps with the AirHead gets rid of all that mushiness. I'd buy this thing again in a heartbeat.

Inexpensive and efficient
What a great little, lightweight pump! We purchased it to inflate our kayaks, and it does the trick in a quick 5 minutes per craft (that is with 7 different valves on the kayak to connect to.) Soooo easy! It's size and weight are so minimal, we can keep it in the carrying bag with one of our kayaks and then, once they are inflated, toss it behind the seat of one of them to have handy if we ever need to add air while out on the water for the day. The assortment of valve attachments is perfect for anyone who wants to use the pump on various inflatables.

I can feel how cheap this pump is; but I totally cheaped out and only paid $11
Pros:I love the seal this thing has, there is like 0 wasted air when you pump.... perfectly sealed! I really love that this got my kites inflated again so I could get back out on the water.Cons:Someone stole my old air pump, which was way more durable. I can feel how cheap this pump is; but I totally cheaped out and only paid $11, so I'm still very happy. I feel like if I pumped it too hard and wasn't pushing straight down, that I would break it somehow... I'm not trying to find out. Anyways, it's a good backup pump or a good pump if you have some other backup. I expect my pump to not last a full kiteboarding season, but if it does that would be great.

Great as a kiteboarding pump!
Works great as a kiteboarding pump. The only difference between this and a much more expensive, name-brand, kiting pump is a slightly smaller footplate, and no kite "leash" (although it was easy to drill a hole through the footplate and attach a string and a small plastic hook). This pump is better than my name-brand pump because you can switch from double-action (faster, but harder to pump) to single-action (slower, but easier on the back) with the twist of a knob.

5 Star
Bought for $15, its sturdy, full size, easy to use, doesnt fall over when you're pumping. Pumps extremely fast. A large 2 person raft, inflatable chair, air mattress, etc. Very satisfied. Confused by alot of the reviews, I dont think people really understand what the product is for. The product is for single person sized inflatables. Comes with 4 different heads. If you try to use it for something that its not intended for, dont 1 star rate the product because you dont understand whats its for, thats not a reflection on the production, its on you as a buyer. Would be great to buy a bag or sack that holds the pump and the nozzle though.

Broke, cheap plastic inside. Unreliable and no warranty at all. Used less then 10 times. Was using it to pump kite.

otherwise the pump would have been useless. Do not understand why the inflate/deflate valve is ...
Exactly as shown and worked perfectly, but the twisting plastic valve at the top is really flimsy and broke almost immediately. I was able to fix it with tape and create a seal, otherwise the pump would have been useless. Do not understand why the inflate/deflate valve is so flimsy or even a feature, since once it breaks it's done.
