This works wonderfully! Very quiet and easy to use. There is a button to turn off the light at night if lights bother you. It filters the air perfectly. We use it in our living and kitchen area and it clears out food odors quickly.

I've had air purifiers in bedrooms for years. Not so much for air quality, since I have no breathing issues, but for dust control. 15 years ago I had a fully manual older air purifier in my son's room that he used for white noise when he slept, and I noticed that his room didn't get as dusty. So I started putting smart ones in other areas. The last couple weeks I replaced an Aeris unit that was only a couple years old and cost 10 times what I just paid for this one, because after they were bought out by Roomba, the app no longer worked so it was no longer a smart device. I grabbed one of the large Levoit models for that. Then it was time to replace two Winix purifiers, one that I had for a few years, and one I had stored new in box for a few years and just unboxed last week. Both also had issues recently with the app, and couldn't be scheduled anymore either. So now after a few weeks of shuffling, I have five Levoit purifiers in my house. Four different models. Other than the capacity, they're all the same for all intents and purposes. Auto lets them sense the air quality and adjust speed accordingly, or you can set manual. One of the larger ones from them I have is the Core 400. And about 20 feet away, in the great room, I have an Air+Health unit. When both are on high, even though I sit less than 5 feet from the Levoit one, I can't even HEAR it at all since the other one makes so much noise over 20 feet away. These things run beautifully. I'm used to the ones in the dining room and great room changing speeds when they sense things from my cooking. But I've never had any of the ones in the bedrooms sense anything. Today, after putting this 100S-P and a larger 200S-P in two of my three bedrooms to replace the Winix units, BOTH of them on the other side of the house noted the air change and ramped up their speeds and sent me a message via the smart app on my phone. I was VERY impressed. Never before did anything else in that side of the house ever sense things from the kitchen. They are dead silent unless you crank up the speed - but even on high, they're less noisy than the others are at 2 or 3 out of 4. Outstanding price, smart app allows full control including schedules (I love cranking them all on high during the work day when I'm at the office, and having them turn back to auto just before I get home). Can't go wrong with these units.

I had gotten large air purifiers before but this one is great! I love the features. It’s not to loud. It worked wonders on my daughter’s room ( a bonus room bigger than the master). It helped with dog hair, dust, and allergies. Powerful for the size!

I've had this air purifier for going on 3 years and I'm just now writing a review. Why? Because it's awesome. I normally have it sitting on the floor next to where my dogs window perch is so it can filter her smelly butt (and boy does she need it!), but we recently had one of our chickens become sick so we moved her inside to keep an eye on her. Within an hour of her being inside I decided I was tired of my house smelling like a barn, so I moved the air purifier next to the crate I have her in and within 30 minutes, the smell was virtually eliminated. Now, I'm a super smeller, I smell EVERYTHING unfortunately, so I still smell her and her lovely waste, but as a whole, this little thing has proven it's worth. For the money, it is a little work horse. The filter system on it is great and it has a black one that catches dander and other dirt particles that can be washed. The replacement filters are reasonably priced and the filters themselves last a good while. There are multiple fan settings, including a pet fan setting. You can control the entire thing through the app, which is also user friendly. I personally leave it on all the time, as my dog goes in & out all the time. As for the use for the next 5 days next to my sick chicken... I never thought I'd have to use it for this purpose, but here we are. She doesn't seem to be bothered by it, it's quiet enough not to bother her, especially at night when it's her "sleep cycle". So if you're on the fence about this air purifier, or really any of the Levoit products, just get one. They are dog AND chicken approved!

This is a fantastic air purifier! It works as it should (I bought this one because I was so pleased with the first one I purchased). The machine is quiet, and the appearance fits in with any decor. The machine is durable, as our cats have jumped on and off several times and have caused it to topple over. I’m giving it only four stars instead of five, because when I asked the seller where I could buy a replacement power cord as a cat chewed through the original, I received the response they are not set up to sell that part individually; however, if I wanted to send them pictures of the unit and damaged part, they would investigate. So, I removed a star due to incompetent customer service

Absolutely love this air purifier. It cleans the air very well and really helps keep dust down. The filter is easy to change, and the pre-filter is easy to remove for cleaning. I love that this machine self-adjusts depending on air quality, and can also be controlled through a user friendly app. Would absolutely purchase a levoit air purifier again in the future.
