Out of all the devotionals I’ve seen, this one stands out with its thoughtful design and calming presentation — every page feels intentional. Lysa TerKeurst is so inspirational, and her words bring comfort, clarity, and encouragement in such a gentle, honest way. It’s the kind of devotional you actually look forward to opening each day. One thing I especially love is the morning and evening format. It creates a natural rhythm to the day — a grounding moment when you wake up and a peaceful reset before bed. The morning readings help you step into the day with purpose and truth, while the evening reflections feel like a soft landing, helping you unwind, process, and breathe again. It makes the devotional feel like a companion rather than just a book.

This book is better than any encouraging self help book Ive ever bought. I want to keep reading it and not just read daily for devotions. Thank you Lysa TerKeurst.

As I read thru it and remember God's promises, I feel at peace and comforted. Lysa Terkeurst does an amazing job writing about healing and the power of prayer; you don't feel alone on your journey to hope, laughter, and feeling love again. Font is nice and comfortable to read and places to journal and write notes.

For the past 4 years, my husband of 34 years was living a double life. He had an affair with his intern 4 years ago and after I discovered the affair I thought he had ended it but he hadn’t. I have no words for the pain and devastation. The past 4 years have been a living hell. I never dreamed this could happen to us! This book has been such a comfort to me. Clearly Lysa has been through the same pain and she shares from her heart words of truth, encouragement, and life. I love this book and I look forward to reading the daily devotions every morning and every night; it brings me hope and helps me get proper perspective again. (And I’m so sorry that you, the reader, are in this same position! Please don’t give up…You’re Going To Make It!) Of the many regrets in your life, buying this book won’t be one of them!

I absolutely loved this devotional! I didn’t want to be done with it! Hope she writes another like this. Great practical advice that’s relatable and leaves you wishing for more to each day!

This book is beautiful written but if you’re looking for a true daily devotional that focuses on applying the Bible to your daily life this isn’t it. There was very little scripture and was more a story about the author and her struggles than Gods word. I’m only about 10 days in but plan to order another devotional to meet my needs and just read this on the side as an uplifting book.

Wenn du dich im Leben verlassen, hoffnungslos und zerbrochen fühlst und in all dem deine Kraft in und durch Gott wiederfinden willst dann ist dieses Buch für dich🫶🏽
