tesa INSECT STOP Premium Hook & Loop Flyscreen, 130 cm x 150 cm, Anthracite

We live near fishing lakes and are plagued by hungry mosquitos in the summer months. As we have had to leave our bedroom windows open in the prolonged heatwave then we have suffered more then usual. I tried this fly screen out of desperation to protect 4 windows and I am pleased to say they work really well. The netting material is strong enough for what it is and should last the summer. The netting material adheres well to the hook & loop tape. The net appears to stand up ok to detaching & reattaching so windows can be closed/opened if very careful. The Premium version is supplied with two tools - a tool for pushing the netting onto the tape and a net cutter. I found the net cutter tended to rip the netting so ended up using a good quality, sharp scalpel blade which worked a treat. Clean the windows well and take your time when fitting the tape. I measured the windows and then cut the tape to size before attempting to fit it. This was much easier then trying to fit the tape with the majority of it hanging down. We have not had any night visitors since fitting these nets so five stars.

Put this on all our Tilt+Turn windows - easy to install to a taught and sleek finish, really good quality mesh and super effective. The anthracite/black version does not impact look out of the window and is very understated seen from outside. No mosquitoes, spiders or flies coming in, and we can leave the windows open at night with light on. Perfect!! Note: It does not work on outward opening windows or on doors, at least you'd have to unhook the mesh all the time and I am not sure how this would wear.

I really don’t understand why nobody makes insect netting with hook and loop for both the netting and the window. So it wouldn’t be as fiddly and would last longer. Saying that, This is an ok product but is very fiddly and won’t last very long if you keep opening it. It’ll do the job for this summer though.

These are really great, I managed to do two windows with mine. The Velcro is really great and strong and hasn’t peeled off or loosened at all in the past 2-3 months it’s been up. The netting sticks really well to the Velcro and doesn’t come loose once stuck down. The only thing that doesn’t make this perfect is some really really small little flies still get through the net but I’m not overly bothered as I bought it to stop black fruit flies, bees and wasps from getting in over the summer. This net certainly stops them from getting through so overall success! Even acted as a barrier from the neighbours cat trying to come through my open window!!

It is fairly easy to install but if you want perfection get someone to help and do it with enough light (not at sunset like me). Brings all the tools to help, so that is a plus (a fixing and a cutter), but I suggest using scissors instead of the cutter to get better smoth & straight edges (as opposite to my picture). It is not perfect for my window, but that is not the problem of this product. The net seems good quality, small and subtle holes (see last pict.) but does not forgive mistakes (i.e., as any net if you brush it to the hooks and remove it you might see some flaws in the pattern) so be careful when assembling and after a while to take it off a few times it is going to break, for sure. It does the job, and probably white would work better for my case but Now I can finally let the window open all night without worrying for flies and mosquitos and bees.

This was exactly what I needed! I have Windows that open inwards and so I wasn't sure I could find anything that could work but this is perfect! I don't normally leave reviews but had to for this product. It was relatively easy to put up, you definitely need two people to do it though. Now I can have the windows open while I'm out (I live in a 5th floor flat) and not worry about coming back to lots of flies. Also I was worried about how it would hold up in bad weather but its been really windy for the last two days and the net is still up! Honestly well worth the money!

facilissima da montare, resistente ed praticamente invisibile (ho preso la zanzariera nera).

Bardzo łatwy montaż, dużym plusem jest dołączony do zestawu nożyk do moskitiery, który ułatwia przycięcie za dużego materiału. Jest wytrzymała i ma bardzo fajny materiał☺️ Polecam!!
