Good Design
The heads stay put with a strong magnet, slim and sturdy, easy to open (after watching videos). I had a really tight space I couldn't get into with a flat ratchet I bought from Ace. This one worked like a charm! I'm a gadget girl and pretty impressed with this mini ratchet.

Not what I was hoping for
This little guy is such a clever idea, that I think I was initially blind to the limitations and issues. I have, on many occasions, felt the need for a tool that--on paper--is exactly this: A small, 90-degree, ratcheting screwdriver. However, this version of the concept is not quite what I always dreamt about. The Good: The metal parts of this seem well-made. The ratcheting mechanism appears to be simple and robust. Clearly some thought went into the (design of) on-board bit storage. The Bad: The on-board bit storage is very flimsy plastic which is also difficult to open. I can't imagine it holding up under any kind of regular use. The bits are pretty difficult to remove from the socket after you are done with them. The head of the tool is large enough that it makes it difficult to get it into small spaces, which is very counterproductive when that's one of the reasons you would use such a device. I tried to use it to tight a door handle, and the diameter of the head was so large that I couldn't get it to align with the screws and had to resort to a smaller, manual screwdriver with a 90-greee bend instead. The Meh: I've not been able to find a situation where this screwdriver is both A) necessary, because a regular screwdriver won't work, and B) useful, because it will actually fit. In any normal situation, a regular screwdriver is the better option, as you can apply more direct force on the screw. I imagine this would work okay for square or star type screws, but I haven't had an opportunity to try it out on those.Overall, I plan on keeping this in my tool set, as it doesn't take up much space, but I can't see this being the type of tool anyone views as a "must-have."

Thought about Gifting this in the future - HECK NO!!! I'M KEEPING THIS!!!
I am a former technician that worked in the field for decades. This mini-ratchet feels well-made, responds reliably, and looks as though it is manufactured robustly. The side holsters securely close to hold the tips well. Having them handy is a huge help since I have often just grabbed a tool and gotten into a position where it may be difficult to move out of to gain access to another tip. This is achieved without compromising the appropriate level of strength needed for such a ratchet. In fact, this ratchet has not failed to ratchet properly for me, which truly makes me pleased with the tool.I have a similar mini-ratchet that I have used for tight spots with a screwdriver tip: These types of ratchets are much better that a rigid offset screwdriver since they ratchet to function in situations with limited rotation capability as well as the flexibility in using the huge variety of tips needed for the huge variety of fasteners that may be encountered.I take great care in selecting my tools for certain purposes: I have categorized this one as being superior and reserved for environments where it will not be abused since I like it so much!

Tight duty
Nice little ratchet, good fit and finish. Double ended bits stored in handle with easy access, unless you're wearing gloves. Ratchet gear has about 36 teeth, so not super smooth. It is a 1/4" hex, so other standard bits will fit if needed.
